How you met Obi-Wan in further detail

Y/n's POV

I will be good enough. I will pass this test. I can't fail. Failure means going back there. I can't go back. Failure is not an option. Tomorrow I will undergo lots of tests monitored by the council themselves. Then a select few will be given the opportunity to become apprentices to the force the others have to go home. I can't be one of those people.

*The next day*

To say I wasn't nervous would be an understatement but I didn't show it. Concealing your emotions is one step closer for me to becoming a Jedi. I came the council and one by one we were called to begin the testing. The ones who have been tested don't come back.
"Y/n  please come to the testing arena."
I breathe out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. I look around me this could be one of the last times I see this place. No I can't think like that. I can do this. I know what to expect. I just have to believe.

*After the examination*

To say I was pleased with my result would be a complete and utter lie. I had completed the course with ease but when it came to the last part which I didn't know about I didn't sense one of the bots. Now I'm in the infirmary with a bullet being removed from my leg by a nurse. I force my eyes shut I do not want to watch this. The bullet is gone after a few minutes as I can feel the linen being tightly wound.

"You can open your eyes now,"The voice was calm and gentle not like the commanding cruel ones of the nurses.
I don't know why but I trusted this voice. Opening my eyes slowly I was soon surrounded by blinding lights. I hesitated but not for long. Trying to jump off the bed I was met with excruciating pain from my leg.
"Easy there the wound won't have healed up in the last two minutes." He said laughing. "Oh I'm sorry Obi-Wan Kenobi at your service."
"Y/n." Was your only response
"Ok Y/n well how would you like to be my apprentice?"
"Yess." I squeal this is what I've always wanted and now my dream is becoming a reality.
