J U P I T E REven after arriving at the nightclub and meeting up with my friends, I couldn't bring myself to get his words off of my head. It was like they were permanently imprinted in my mind and I could think of nothing but them. Though I didn't say anything afterwards as I quietly walked out on him, I had a feeling he knew the impact on me.
It was the only decent conversation we had since coming back and I really wished we could keep it that way. Eric seemed composed than usual, maybe he had changed up his mind about me.
The nightclub was lively and people were partying their lives out. The music played over the dancefloor fused with the the bodies dancing perfectly. Lights swirled in an array of blues, pinks and hot pink and I had a hard time focusing on one.
Daisy took my hand as we made our way to the bar counter with Maya and Leslie following behind. The latter were occasionally dancing and cheering for the big night. Damn, we're going to have one heck of a night.
"Hey sexy, two scotch whiskey please." Leslie said to the blond bartender, her lashes seductively fluttering at him. He flashed her a golden smile before walking away to get our order.
"Girl, you good!" Daisy mumbled and Leslie flipped her hair proudly.
Maya lightly pat my shoulder to grab my attention. "Jupiter, this night is not about being quiet or decent, it's about freedom and having the time of our lives."
"So, we're basically the life and soul of this party." I said skeptical at first.
"Absolutely. The only time we leave is when we get all sweaty or we're about to take the make out session to another level," Daisy leaned closer. "If you know what I mean."
Leslie giggled before wrapping her arm around Daisy's shoulder. "Daisy honey, the latter is for the single women and yo-"
"Shut the fuck up!" Daisy snapped.
"Oh! Sorry, I thought you were fucking Maya's single hot brother." Leslie shrugged and tried to hold back a chuckle.
Daisy smiled mischievously and I knew she was up to something. "Let's not forget about the time Leslie fucked her forty year old plumber."
"Oh my God! Leslie, that sounds crazy!" I blurted out and Leslie glared at Daisy.
"It's not your fault I love you!" Leslie said over the music with a pout. She hugged Daisy and Daisy tightened the hug. "Aww! I love you too, babe!"
"Enough with the cuddles, our drinks are here!" Maya announced just as the bartender came back with two bottles of scotch whiskey and four cups.
Maya filled out our glasses and each of us took one. We raised it together for a toss.
"Cheers to our single lives!" Leslie said before letting out an ear piecing howl that reminds me of wolves, soon afterwards joined by both Maya and Daisy.
It was my first time getting wild so I didn't hold back anything especially since I'm with my loved ones.
About six cups later, I began to feel tipsy, my blood pumping hard, adrenaline kicking in. I've never felt more dynamic. The only few times I got drunk was at one of the weddings of my client and even that time, it was just a cup.
