Judith

Dad had called me let me know he wanted me home next weekend. He wanted to talk. He didn't tell me what he wanted to talk and cut the phone.

Great.

I was getting ready to leave for shooting when
the call came.

It left me in a shitty mood.

I was scowling when I reached the studio.

"Hey Jay-Jay , what's with the face. Did you get stung by a bee."

Ryan. Perfect. Right when I didn't have any patience.

"Not in the mood for your jokes Ryan."

He pouted.

I rolled my eyes.

"Riley is right. You can be such a bitch sometimes."

What ? When did she tell him that?

I was nothing but nice to her , even when she acted like she was tolerating me only because of my brother.

Maybe I should stop being nice , people think I am a bitch anyways.

"You haven't seen the bitch. I am in really bad mood."

He frowned.

"Why? Shouldn't you be like celebrating. You are half a celebrity now."

Right. I would have if my dad was a little more understanding.

"Dad wants me home next weekend."

My shoulders slumped automatically as I said it.

His face softened.

Ryan knew how demanding and controlling my parents could be sometimes , from hearing from my brother his experiences.

"Hey don't let them take away your happiness."

I smiled lightly.

"I have great news for you. The album is coming out soon."

"Yeah Justin told me."

"Can you atleast pretend to be a little excited?"

I laughed.

"Yay!" I screamed.

"Okay okay." He tried to mute my sound by placing his palm over my mouth.

Our eyes locked for minute. I lost my breath.

Somebody cleared their throat.

Ryan took his hand off from my mouth immediately.  Stepping to my side.

It was Adam.

Damn it!

Ryan and I stood there awkwardly.

"Micheal said the shot is ready. He wants us, umm.. Judith and me there." He was speaking to Ryan.

"Sure." Ryan said giving me a slight nod , motioning me to leave with Adam.

"Are you guys together?" Adam asked me when we were out of Ryan's earshot.

I threw back my head and laughed.

Adam

I didn't know if I was annoyed at her amusement or fascinated by her open laughter.

Shit! She looked beautiful even when she was giving full belly laughs.

With Lauren it was always calculated smiles and light chuckles.
