A/N:
lmao for some reason my dumbass started thinking in Literature mode and when i proof read the previous chapter i started thinking about how the tie was used because it symbolises that they felt trapped and they were suffocating due to the lack of knowledge of their own soulmate
THEN I WAS LIKE 'oh shit this is my own work it's not worthy of my literature brain' and i shut it off
y'all ever think about how smart teachers think authors are? and like one day you're just writing and you just SEE what the teacher would've done if they read it? and suddenly you just KNOW the authors probably didn't mean whatever the teachers thought they meant

Bakugou
Yeah, big deal. He didn't know how to tie a tie. So what? Shitty Hair didn't have to help him with it. He could've figured it out on his own if he had the time! It was just a tie. The only thing he'd even do with a tie is suffocate a villain and he didn't have to know how to properly tie a tie in the professional way to do that.
At the time where Kirishima was helping with it, Bakugou had felt super awkward so he just turned his head.
"Done!"
"Done," he had breathed. He knew it was rude to do that, his mom had told him a hundred times—but it was a fucking reaction. What the hell was he supposed to do? Keep his mouth shut?
Okay, yeah. Maybe.
But he was super relieved when it was finally over. Awkward situations were not his thing, especially when it came to someone he spent 15 minutes staring at the clock for. Luckily, the rest of the day, Kirishima was keeping to himself.
Or maybe that was unfortunate. Bakugou didn't know. He was happy that he didn't have to go through any more awkward situations but he was wondering what got Kirishima so detached. But then again, asking would just form another awkward situation.
So Bakugou stayed quiet.
During last period, Midoriya came up to him. "Kacchan, I was wondering if you wanted to go visit the middle school with me," he asked. He was wringing his hands, looking away.
Bakugou narrowed his eyes. "Ha? Why would I want to go back there?" If Deku was trying to guilt-trip him into saying yes by acting like a scared innocent baby, it wasn't gonna fucking work. Stupid Deku thinks he's got everything wrapped around his finger.
"Y'know, to visit our old teachers! Trust me, it's a lot more fun than you think," Midoriya reassured, smiling. Why the fuck did he smile at my answer?
"They're idiots who can't teach, how fucking fun can it be?!"
"You say that about every single teacher!" Midoriya rebutted.
"Because every single teacher I've been taught by can't teach!" Bakugou shot back.
"What's this I hear about teachers being idiots?" Aizawa-sensei asked, shocking Midoriya and Bakugou.
Bakugou wouldn't even fault himself for that. Aizawa-sensei was on the floor. In a bean bag.
And he still looked scary, which honestly says a lot about Aizawa-sensei as a pro hero.
"Aizawa-sensei, we weren't calling you an idiot!" Midoriya said, hands up in surrender.
Jeez, was Deku a fucking coward? Bakugou remained silent.
"Are you saying that I'm not a teacher?"
"Not much of a teacher," Bakugou muttered.
"Kacchan!" Midoriya chided.
