Ava's Magic Portal

  I woke up to the toilet flushing again and again. I decided to actually get up and look at what was wrong. Usually I'd bring my daggers but since we have five demons in our apartment right now I didn't. I walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door. After a moment Rhys opened the door.

  "What are you doing?" I asked him. He looked nervous.

  "I didn't mean to-" he started but I heard Ava coming so I cut him off.

  "It's okay. Look Ava's coming so I suggest you leave before she comes and attacks you with a giant pencil." I walked away and pet Ava's head as I walked past. Lucky for me I fell asleep quickly.

  There were two young Deamos playing. Both had orange hair. The girl, who looked 6, had straight, pale yellow horns. Her horns kinds curved back a bit too. The boy, who looked 9, had orange to yellow fading horns that went straight upwards. The little girl was chasing the older one. She finally caught him and tackled him down.

  "Gotcha, Older Brother!" She exclaimed as he got off. The little girl then helped her brother up. She then started to turn around but before her face showed it was cut off.

"Woah! What kinda dream was that?" I mumbled quietly. I heard Rhys scolding who I think is Asch in Ava's room. 'Wait Ava's room?' I realized in my head. I got up and walked in there but I had to push past Noi and Rhys. I saw Asch holding a dagger. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I asked as I summoned the dagger. I looked over to Noi and Rhys, the former looked scared. I raised an eyebrow and held up the dagger. "I'm guessing this is yours?" I asked him. The Orangette nodded. I tossed it to him, he caught it. Then I walked over to asch and punched him in the gut. He doubled over so I grabbed the back of his cape and pulled him out of the room. I looked at a stirring Ava then shut the door. I looked over to the daemos and glared at them, Asch mainly. "Okay, what part of 'you hurt her, I hurt you back.' do you not understand?!" I asked the Deamo in question.

  "I though you were bluffing." He mumbled. I looked at unamused.

  "Did that punch feel like I was bluffing?" I asked seriously.

  "She punched Asch?" The light blue one asked. Noi nodded.

  "And took the dagger back." The latter added.

  "You do understand I'm royalty. Don't you, Human?" Asch spat my way.

  "Oh well I'm sorry, Your Highness." I mocked a bow but stood straight up soon after. "But you aren't. Not here in this world. So you are nothing to anyone but these four here." I gestured to the other demons. "So lose the attitude, Asch. Maybe your knights will listen but humans? Nope." I stated popping the 'p' in his face, I then turned to change. I didn't get far though.

  "Leif. Kill her." Asch ordered. I kept walking I then heard approaching footsteps.

  "Try it , Leif, I dare you." I hissed. The footsteps halted and retreated. I shut my door and changed. I had a black ghost hoodie and ripped jeans. I was wearing black converse too. I walked out to Asch telling Leif to wake Ava up. I walked past them while calling: "Hell no, I'm waking Ava."

  "You Should take it as a compliment I didn't kill you in your sleep." He called after me. I turned around so I was walking backwards.

  "Could you really, though?" I asked smirking. I then reached the door and went in.  so I could wake Ava up. They told us that they want us to teach them how to be human, once we were out in the main room. Rhys told us in a smart way then Asch in his way.

  "If I do that will you guys leave?" Ava asked, aww poor child.

  "Faster than you can imagine." Asch told her, ha liar.

  "Really?"

  "Really."

  "Really really?" This went on for a while before it stopped.

  After that, Ava then started talking like a sorcerer. She fetched the swear jar but Asch snatched it. Ava tried to get it back. Asch then tried throwing it to Pierce, I learned he's the tall one, but I summoned it.

  "Do you people forget I can do this?" I asked the three. Pierce and Ava nodded. Asch just huffed. I rolled my eyes and threw it to Pierce. He caught it as looked at me. "Just so what the Royal said so he can stop pouting." I told him, he nodded and smashed it. Ava gasped and looked horrified. "Ava, honey, I'll buy you a new one." I told her. She was okay with it. She was talking to herself. Leif asked who she was talking to, Noi said spirts. "Herself. Humans do it sometimes." I told the two.

  "Come. We're going to take you to a very sacred place to us humans." Ava told them. I groaned knowing what she meant.

  "I'm going to get my horns and fangs. Maybe it'll help the crazies blend in." I told my sister.

  "Excuse me?!" Asch said offended. I ignored him and put my horns and fangs on.

  "Actually can you stay?" Ava asked. "I trust you with the apartment!" She defended. I sighed Inwardly.

  "K fine. Who do I have to deal with?" I asked. Asch then ordered Leif and Rhys to stay. Leif was objecting but stayed anyways. "Great, Bye Ava."

  An hour or so later, I'm jamming to my Disney playlist, along with musical and anime songs. Leif and Rhys are doing something I don't really care. I heard the door open but didn't do anything. Soon enough I heard:

  "Hey Rayn?" Ava.

  "Yup?" I called from my spot on the floor. She was talking crazy again, she asked where Leif and Rhys are. Almost one cue Rhys walked out of the wall and lead the Daemos with him into the wall again. Ava walked up to it and then came and grabbed my hand.

  "Rayn let's go!" She dragged my through the wall with her. It looked like a castle. I looked around in awe.

  "Oh this is amazing."  I stated taking out my headphones. Ava was mumbling to herself then She fainted. "Well damn." I mumbled gently. Rhys noticed her on the floor and sighed. "Sorry guys, but this is so cool!" I complemented. We moved her and I started chatting with Noi and Leif. Rhys watched Ava, she got up soon. Pierce tried to give her cereal to make her feel better.

  "Where did you get this?!" She asked.

  "I took it." He told her in his deep calm voice.

  "With out paying?!" Ava's getting mad.

  "Paying?" The male questioned.

  "They're daemos, Ava, they don't know human costumes!" I reminded her. Ava started talking crazy again. She then left. They all looked at me. "She's freaked out. Let her be for a day or so. As mush as I love this place imma go watch a Disney movie." I then left. 'What did I get myself into?' I questioned myself.
