I smiled and made a toast with Nix. "Just one beer Nix, I can't go home drunk."

My close comrade smirked at me, "You think you're the only one? Of course, I cannot go home drunk too. Tessa is going to kill me."

I chuckled with his statement. So we're both afraid with our wives huh? Nah, we just love them so much that we do better in not making them frustrated.

Ayaw ko yatang nagagalit sa akin si Ginevra, hindi ko kaya, gusto ko palagi lang siyang masaya sa piling ko. Parang noong sobra siyang nagalit sa akin sa Australia, muntik akong mabaliw kaiisip kung paano matatanggal ang galit niya.

"How long are you going to stay here in Melbourne, Braun?"

I stared at my friend, "Maybe after Ginevra has settled everything, I guess."

I've been here in Melbourne for a week and might probably stay longer. "So you and Ginny, huh? Damn, you got her. Your dream girl is your wife now."

I smirked and cocked my head, "Yeah, she is a reality now, Nix." I looked stupid smiling widely as I see my beautiful wife in my mind. Kahit sa imahinasyon ko, siya pa rin ang pinakamaganda.

Tumawa si Nix at uminom sa hawak niyang beer, "I could still remember clearly how crazy you were with her."

Hindi ko napigilang mapangiti nang maalala ko ang lahat. Kung saan ako nagsimulang mabaliw kay Maria Ginevra Moran-Braun, my beautiful and amazing wife.

Bigla akong kinabahan, anong sikreto kaya ang gusto niyang sabihin? Is it a matter of life and death? Does it have something to do with the national security?

We went to the porch of our house. "I have a daughter in the Philippines."

Hindi ko napaghandaan na ganun ang kanyang sasabihin, sobrang layo sa mga naisip ko. "What?"

She smiled. She took something inside the secret pocket of her suit, it looks like a photograph. "Her name is Maria Ginevra Moran, they often call her Ginny. She just celebrated her 10th birthday last month."

Iniabot niya sa akin ang litrato, nagulat na ako sa kanyang ibinalita pero mas nagulat ako at mas malakas ang kabog ng aking puso nang masilayan si Maria Ginevra Moran.

Hindi ko alam gaano ako katagal nakatitig sa kanyang litrato. Parang ayaw ko nang tanggalin ang tingin ko sa napakagandang imahe, at parang ayaw ko nang ibalik ang litrato kay Auntie Geneva.

"Lovely right? She's mine Tyronne, she's my secret daughter."

I looked at her and shocked is still evident in my eyes, "But how? I mean, you married Uncle Hubert."
