New Beginnings

Shinji POV

Shinji never expected the call. His father wanted to see him and he didn't know how to respond. His father pro hero Android wanted to see him. Shinji sprinted as fast as he could all the way to the subway. He even used his quirk to help him get there faster. It's not like anyone would be able to tell it was him.

On the subway he sat alone with his headset on. He was sweating bullets. He didn't know what his father wanted, what he'd say, or how he'd react to meeting his father for the first time in years. He sat there for an hour until he reached his stop. He stepped off of the subway and onto the platform expecting to see his father but he wasn't there. He tried to call him with no avail. He stood there defeated until someone called out his name.

"Shinji Ikari?"

Shinji turned around only to see a woman. She stood there for a few moments before introducing herself.

"So this is the famous Shinji Ikari. Nice to meet ya I'm Misato Katsuragi. Your father asked me to pick you up."

Shinji was stunned. This was not something he would've expected in the slightest. He didn't know how to react so he just stood there silently.

Misato decided it'd be best if she tried explaining what he was here for.

"Shinji, I know this is not what you were expecting. Follow me I'll explain as we walk"

Shinji blindly followed not even acknowledging her.

"Shinji your father requested for you to come here to study at UA. He told me how powerful your quirk is. I know you can stop time Shinji."

Shinji stopped time. He just stood there and screamed at the top of his lungs. His father, the man who abandoned him 10 years ago finally decides to speak with him, and chooses to just dump him on someone else. Shinji was angry and decided leaving was his best option. Shinji started walking back toward the subway when his ten seconds of timestop ran out. He was able to walk for a 20 seconds but when he tried to activate his ability again when he saw Misato chasing him it wouldn't activate. Aizawa has been there as well.

"Hello Shinji. Misato asked me to come as well just incase something like this happened. I'm sorry to say this but you don't have a choice."

He grabbed Shinji by the shoulder and walked him to Misato. Shinji, Misato, and Aizawa all rode over to UA in Misato's car.

Shinji entered the complex and entered a conference room seeing principal Nezu, recovery girl, and all might. Shinji sat down and didn't make a sound. Aizawa sat across from him to keep an eye on him and Misato sat next to him.

Nezu began "Hello Mr.Ikari, how are you doing today?"

Shinji didn't acknowledge him at all.

Nezu continued "I don't think any of us would be able to understand how you fell right now although if you give us a chance we might be able to help you."

Shinji again ignored him

All might joined in "Shinji my boy, I know what it is like to have a powerful quirk you do..."

Shinji interjected "Where is my father?"

Misato stated "He couldn't make it."

Shinji asked "Then what do you all want with me?"

Nezu said "We'd like to get you on board with going UA. You will be put into our highest first year course in class 1a. You'll be taught by multiple teachers including All Might but you're homeroom teachers would be Aizawa and Ms.Misato.

Shinji asked "I don't have a choice, do I?"

Aizawa said "No, no you don't."

Shinji stayed silent for a few moments before saying "Fine. When do I start"
