THE LEGEND OF THE ZANALIAN CRYSTALS

CHAPTER ONE

Deep deep in the forests a place many humans will not believe exists.
An invisible training arena far into the dark woods like a boarding school but much more brutal, a school where students of all ages are trained to physically defend themselves.

Today at the defense academy Was the finals of their annual weapons tournament, of over 300,000 students the two contestants that made it to the finals are Jordan Gelvon the hottest most popular, three times winner of the most powerful student in the academy was going to be fighting Laila Anderson an equally pretty teenage girl who lost her mother years ago and her father a prime minister at the academy has always been ashamed of her simply because she's a female and is being maltreated by the academy.

Jordan and Laila are best of friends, but Laila has a huge crush on Jordan, she wanted to be more than friends but Jordan was too dum to realize it, and now they are going to fight each other.
"if you ever beat me Laila I'll do whatever you ask for a whole day" Jordan said, he always makes that bet when ever he was fighting Laila and he always wins.

"fight!!" the referee shouted and Jordan runs towards Leila with his sword aiming for her stomach but she jumps over his head and lands behind him, Leila puts her legs in-between his legs pulls forward and he falls on his face, Jordan quickly stretches his leg and pull her leg, she fell backwards but landed firmly on her hands, Jordan was already on his feet and the clash of swords continued.

It was a close fight both Jordan and Leila are very talented fighters and best of friends three hours of fighting, Jordan won.

The crowd cheered and carried Jordan shoulder high chanting his name leaving Leila laying helplessly.

"come on girl, lets get you to the clinic" Tania said stretching out her hand to help Laila up "sorry you didn't win, but you did great, with out you in this academy we females will be worth less"

"thanks Tania" Laila answered leaping slowly beside Tania "I'm really happy for Jordan though, this is his fourth time in a row"

Tania Haven a crazy, stubborn teenage girl, Leila's other best friend; Jordan, Tania and Leila are best of friends they did everything together.

"Miss Laila what do you think your doing" Miss Teshina yelled angrily at Leila

"I am getting treatment for my injuries" Laila responded innocently
"have you forgotten you have to sharpen all 30000 sword blades" Miss Teshina asked angrily

"you ask her to sharpen blades, she's seriously injured don't you-" Tania answered angrily but Laila cuts in
"I'll sharpen the blades Immediately after the nurse finishes bandaging my wounds"

"No!!! I insist sharpen the blades right now " Miss Teshina yelled

"but we don't even need those swords until next week"Tania said

"and I'm bleeding, please miss Teshina i'll do it right after the bandages please" Laila pleads

"your being stubborn, how would you like me to inform minister Alfred Anderson" Miss Teshina threaten
"I'll do it right away ma'am" Laila answered and leaped slowly to the weapons room leaving a trail of blood and Tania followed.

Students always wondered why Laila acted differently when ever minister Alfred Anderson was mentioned little did they know that minister Alfred was her father, Alfred was so ashamed of his daughter that only a few of his friends knew they were related, as if that wasn't enough torture he made it clear that she did all the chores in the academy she had gotten really deep cuts from Sharpening swords.
