More lame movies and too much testosterone...
It had been a few weeks since Everest and Bella had actually hung out. Sure, Everest sat with Bella and her friends at lunch sometimes, disliking the majority of the group and preferring to spend time in the library instead; but the Swan girl was so busy with Jacob, they never hung out one on one. It was a rare sunny day in Forks when Everest had joined the group in the lunchroom, rolling her eyes at Mike's pathetic attempts at asking Bella out.
"So, now that your talking, and well eating." Mike let out an awkward laugh. "Do you think you would like to go out...with me? We could go see a movie?" he asks, blue eyes wide and hopeful.
Bella to her credit, did not look as awkward as Everest expected her to look, hesitantly agreeing.
"Yeah, I mean okay." she says, causing the annoying blue eyed boy to perk up.
"Okay, wow, uhm okay cool. We could see 'Love Spelled Backwards is Love', stupid title I know.." he rambles, causing Everest to roll her eyes in exasperation and exchange a smirk with Scout, who was sitting beside her reading a book.
Since Bella had pretty much been ignoring the girl in favor of Jacob, Everest had taken to hanging out with her remaining siblings a lot more, them both being there and taking her to ever therapist appointment and being supportive when she finally admitted to them that she was bisexual.
