Changbin couldn't pinpoint why he never saw Jisung around class or the school or that he was part of the basketball team as their manager and emergency first-aid responder until two days ago.
He would never have known about him if it weren't for Ms. Young. He is secretive, silent, and behind the scenes with everything. He blends into the background seamlessly. Changbin's mind was busy with just thoughts of him. He didn't know why he already seemed so keen on seeing the taller, but he couldn't wait. Roaming the halls with Chris, Seungmin, and Hyunjin, he spotted the male in his black hoodie and smiled like an idiot.
"Jisung!" He yelled down the common room hall, almost putting the majority of the busy chatting to silence. Jisung looked confused, quickly pulling one of the buds out before he started looking around the shared area, looking like he would have a nervous breakdown. His hood was up, hiding his face.
"Changbin... That's not a good idea-" Hyunjin tried telling him but didn't listen.
"Jisung!" He yelled out again. Jisung's attention was now on the older and everyone around them. Changbin quickly hobbled to him. Leaving his crutches with Chan, he promptly hopped towards him, bringing his arm over the boy, though Jisung was beginning to have an anxiety attack and kept hiding his face.
"Stop that!" Jisung whispered, yelling at the older. Changbin watched as the younger pulled his hood up, but to his dismay, Changbin attempted to pull his hood as far down as he could. Changbin didn't know why, but he sure wanted to get to the bottom and discover why he hid. He pulled his hood off his head and began panicking even more. That was when Changbin realized he shouldn't have yelled for him; he didn't know he would react this way.
"Relax, Jisung. Look at me, just me, and you'll be okay. I promise..." He tried to smooth it out. Jisung looked at the older man with his golden eyes. He was wearing contacts, a yellow, but the brown behind them gave his orbs a honey-yellow look. The panic that was surging through him caused him to shove Changbin away. Luckily, Chan was behind the raven to catch him before he fell.
Next thing everyone knew, the whole school was looking at them. Slight murmuring, Jisung's eyes widened, and then he began to gloss over as he took off running. Changbin wanted to run after him, but Chan held his arm back.
"You don't realize what you did, do you?" Chan barked. He stood still, watching the blond fade into the crowds before everything became noisy again.
What did he do that was so wrong?
"Jisung is special, Changbin," Chan said, finally loosening his grip.
"What do you mean special?" he questioned. Why did everyone else know about him, but he didn't? Chan gestured for him to follow as they left the school grounds for lunch.

"You really don't know who he is?" Chan asked again, shoving a mouthful of rice into his mouth. Changbin shook his head no, stabbing at the noodles on his plate.
"Han Jisung 's parents were killed in an accident when he was 14. He suffers extreme social anxiety because of it, which is why he reacted the way he did earlier to you calling out to him." Chan relayed as the younger of the two listened intently. He didn't know Jisung had no parents.
"His guardian right now is Miss. Young. He is very secretive and incredibly talented at artwork," Chan continued, his voice filled with admiration. "A lot of his works have been anonymous, but from what people have seen around, they know it was his artworks. He's won numerous competitions."
Chan turned his phone towards the boy, showing all the different artworks. Most of the pieces were done in watercolors. He stared in awe at the beautiful artwork, which included landscapes, flowers, abstracts, and patterns. They were all done in watercolor pastels. They were breathtaking. At such an early age, he really had mastered watercolor. It was one of the only mediums Changbin refused to use because he wasn't particularly good with it.
