(Chris's pov)

I chose to fight her for y/n's sake
I hid y/n behind me so they don't get hurt "CHRIS HAND OVER Y/N!" Their mother yelled at me "sorry but I will not allow you to lay a finger on them" I responded as she growls at me "Then I'm going to have take them from you!" I ran away from her and put y/n in the attic "Chris where are you going?" asked y/n "I'm gonna come right back okay hun?" They nods which makes me smile a little as I close the attic door. To tell the truth I wasn't sure if I was coming back

(Y/N's pov)

Chris left me in the attic saying he was coming back and I trust him so I wait for him. I heard a lot of loud crashes and bangs "is Chris okay?" I thought and then everything just went quiet until I heard footsteps coming towards to attic. I hid behind some boxes "Y/n? Are you still in here?" I heard "C-chris?" I respond poking my head out, he had a bunch of scars, dents and an arm missing "Yes, it's me hun" He said before I hugged him tight "I'm okay, now let's pack up your stuff so we can go" He says and I nod
