Skipping the car ride~

We pulled up to a department store. I stepped out making sure to grab my bag. I walked behind Merle. We stopped at the door looking through it. The cost was clear. We walked into a horrible stench. There were dead bodies scattered across the floor. My hand went to my face to try to stop the smell traveling to my nose. I walked around to see if there was anything worth grabbing. I had one of my handy knives in my hand. I walked to the shoe section. I needed better shoes. I saw a good pair of combat boots that I loved. They were black with a knife sheath on the side. I grabbed them and took of my designer boots that were no use for me anymore. I grabbed a new pair of long socks a slid them on my feet. I put the boots on, they were a perfect fit. I walked to the clothing section of the store. I grabbed multiple tank tops and shorts that I would need. Once again I have designer clothes that will just get ruined. I made my way to the personal hygiene section grabbed what I would need. This store didn't have a baby section which sucked. When I grabbed what would fit in my bag I followed Merle up to the roof of the store. I needed some fresh air. When we reached the roof I sat down on a pipe, taking deep breaths. Breathing in some fresh air with a hint of death mixed within it. I took my bag off my back and grabbed a water bottle and protein bar. I broke the protein bar in half, I also grabbed another bottle of water.

"Merle, here. Its really hot out here. You need to keep your strength up." I said handing him the water and protein bar.

"Thanks sweet cheeks. You know what would really help with my strength. A little wrestling with a hot babe like yourself." He joked.

"Sorry not gonna happen. Just drink your water." I replied.

"Hmph." Merle muttered. I walked back to the pipe I was sitting on. I nibbled on the bar, and sipped some water trying to make it last. I let my thoughts wander. I really missed my mother. She had died three months before this all happened. It was probably best really. She didn't have to see any of this happen. My mother was a single mom she didn't know who my father was. Nor my younger brothers. He also died. He died from a freak accident two years ago. I'm not gonna go into much detail about that though. But I surely did miss them. Its crazy how something's happen. Like how this started, Shane cheating on me. I still can't believe he did that. I loved that man so much it hurts. I still love him. Its really hard to bea.... my thoughts were interrupted by yelling from Morales telling Merle to stop shooting. Andrea came up to me and asked why didn't I stop him.

"I didn't know he was shooting. I was in a deep thou..... Rick?" I asked looking behind Andrea. "Rick? Is this fucking real?" I said walking up to him.

"Nova? Oh my god. You're alive!." He said pulling me into a hug. I hugged back still unsure if this was real. "Is Lori and Carl alive. Shane?" He asked looking at my face.

"Yes, yes they are. All three of them are. Rick how are you alive? Shane said you died." I asked.

"I'm not sure. All I know is that I woke up in the hospital." He said.

Skipping to the car ride back to camp~

That was some crazy ass shit back there. Walkers broke through the front doors, Merle got left behind cuffed to a pipe. But we made it out alive. It sucks for Merle though, and his brother Daryl. I hope things don't get too crazy when he finds out.

When we pulled up to the camp I stepped out the back of the truck. I took my stuff to the RV. I sat my bag on the table. I started to organize what I had gotten. Outside Carl was yelling dad. I smiled to myself. I'm glad Rick is back. Carl really needs his dad through all this crazy shit. I went back to looking through the tank tops I got when the door opened, I looked expecting to see Amy and Andrea. But I got Shane. I rolled my eyes and went back to looking through my stuff. He sat in front of me.

"Nova. Will you please talk to me?"

"Why?" I said looking into his eyes. "I don't see a reason to. You cheated on me. I fucking love you Shane and you do this." I continued with tears escaping my eyes.

"Nova, I am so sorry. I truthfully didn't mean for it to happen. I love you so Damn much it hurts me. You're my everything. You and that baby mean the world to me."

"If we meant a thing to you, you would have pushed her off of you. Not wrap your arms around her." I replied standing up walking out of the RV. I went to the back where the latter is. I started to climb up. I sat next to Dale.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked. I just shook my head in response.
