Jisoo was mesmerized by the beauty of the small island, there was such a peaceful feel in the air. 'This is just what I needed to clear my thoughts! Oh I love these hammocks!' She placed her things beside a hammock and hopped in, the petite writer had been fighting with herself trying to keep from thinking about the purple haired woman but she had failed.
'What is it with you Kim? What makes her so special that you can't stop thinking about her?' The internal voice from Jisoo's head choose that moment to show up.
'Maybe it's because she is a beautiful and intelligent woman who hasn't fallen at your feet like everybody else?'
"So, you're back how good!" Jisoo's voice was filled with sarcasm.
'You don't have to be sarcastic with me Jis, I'm part of you remember?' Jisoo always fought her inner voice but this time she felt like she needed it.
"I can't understand why I'm so taken with her, I feel like I've known her all my life, it's a strange connection."
'Maybe you have met her in another life.'
"I don't think so! And I don't want to spend the day thinking about her. I want to relax and think about more pleasurable things." Jisoo was resolved to forgetting everything about the accountant.
She decided to enjoy the warmth of the sun and the caress of the breeze. She closed her eyes and tried to relax listening to the sound of the crashing waves on the white sandy shore.
----------
Rosé was somewhat disappointed when she didn't run into the petite author that morning, although, it was her who had decided not to see her.
'I'm an idiot, one moment I don't want to see her, the next I'm regretting my own decision.'
The tall accountant signed herself on the passenger list to the island on the eleven o'clock sailing and decided to check out the gym to get an idea of what she could do to burn the extra energy she seemed to be accumulating since she had got there.
'Wow! This is pretty neat, I bet I can do anything I want here.' Rosé was amazed at the immense space dedicated to the weight area and the completeness of the machinery for cardiovascular workout. All the machines faced the glass with the pool view while the other side had the view of Palomino Island and it's white sand, which reminded Rosé that the time to take the boat had come. She had to use the gym soon but for now a good run on the beach would help clear her thoughts.
-----------
Jisoo was enjoying the warm breeze of the morning as she tried to relax a little, but her mind was in overdrive thinking about several things at the same time. She even had to open her agenda to write down some ideas that came to mind while she was relaxing on the hammock. More than once the petite writer had to remind herself that she was not to think about the tall purple haired beauty she'd met the night before.
'Kim you must be crazy to keep thinking about her, don't you see that she didn't want to have breakfast with you? That's proof enough to say she doesn't want to have anything to do with you, maybe you're losing your charm.' Jisoo brows drew together under raven bangs at that last remark.
"I'm not! And I'm not going to argue about this while I'm on vacation. I have all the intentions of enjoying this off time."
-----------
Rosé arrived on the island and decided that a run on the beach was in order to clear her thoughts. Hyeri's words were still inside her head, and her mind was in turmoil. She always felt better after a good run. The battle with herself began at the same time as her run.
