Jisoo was a nervous wreck, God, I can't believe she's here! She thought. How did she find me? Wow she looks so sexy with that wet look! The writer smiled.
"You better behave this time, Kim. Don't blow it, you have her here, this is like a second chance, don't scare her away. Be her friend nothing more." The voice inside her said, and Jisoo's smile was gone.
You're right, I better take my mind out of the gutter before I blow this up again. She thought sadly. I know I can act like a friend, I don't want her out of my life, I promise I'll be good. She repeated as a mantra. Jisoo's resolve almost vanished at the sight in front of her. Rosé had her hair wet and combed back leaving a beautiful face to admire, the robe was still way too small for her as she padded, feet bare, towards the speechless author.
The young author had a death grip on the back of the sofa, he knuckles turning white.
Rosé noticed, but said nothing, she knew better. "Hi again." The accountant said shyly.
Jisoo cleared her throat. "Uhmp... hi, sorry about the robe, I thought it was so big on me it might fit you." she apologized.
Rosé's smile grew. "No problem. It covers the basics, so I can't complain too much." she joked, her hands full of wet clothes. "Maybe we can put this to dry." she said.
Jisoo bolted into action. "But of course! Give me that and I'll put them in the dryer right away." Jisoo took the clothes from Rosé and walked down to the small laundry located at the end of the hall.
Rosé watched with a smile as the petite writer left so quickly, she looked so frustrated Rosé wanted to laugh. God she's as nervous as I am... how cute! She thought.
Jisoo was back as quickly as she left. "I put all of your clothes into the dryer, even the ones inside your backpack, they were soaked. How long were you under the rain?" she asked curiously.
"Well, I took a walk down the beach. I'll say around one hour." answered Rosé glad she didn't have to go straight to explaining the reason of her visit.
"Oh, I see. I also put on a pot of coffee. It'll help you warm up." Jisoo started walking to the kitchen and motioned Rosé to follow her.
The tall accountant felt brave now. Everything is easier over a cup of coffee. She thought.
They sat on the stools at the kitchen counter. Jisoo was glad they weren't sitting in front of each other, the barely dressed accountant was very distracting.
The silence between them was starting to feel uncomfortable and Rosé decided it was the moment of truth, she cleared her throat and said.
"I bet you're wondering what the hell I am doing here." she found it hard to speak.
"Well, to be sincere... Yes, I was very surprised to see you here." Jisoo said, not daring to look at Rosé.
"I know how this might sound, but after all that happened I needed to talk with you to apologize for my behavior. It was uncalled for and I know I hurt you, for that I am truly sorry." Rosé whispered her head down. She didn't want to look into Jisoo's eyes.
The raven placed her fingers under the accountant's chin and made her look up to her.
"Listen Rosé, I did things wrong too that night. I knew you were straight, and still let myself get carried away and I ended up freaking you out. I'm sorry." Jisoo's eyes were fixed on Rosé's azure gaze as she continued. "There's nothing wrong with what you did. I was acting improperly and you were right in calling it off." she finished.
Rosé couldn't believe what she heard. "But... it wasn't you... it was me who drank too much and acted improperly. I... I kissed you too and tried to make you go to bed with me." Rosé said, blushing deeply.
