Chapter 4 : Gossip
I like him. Okay, maybe that was a little bit too blunt, but hey! Can't exactly blame me. He's a hot piece of--hahahahahaha, I'm kidding. Like I'd ever like him.
"Like who?" I instantly jumped when I heard Lesley Bias's presence next to me.
Lesley, a girl I'm acquaintance with. She had rectangular glasses and always wore dresses with jean jackets. She had brown skin and blonde hair, which she loved dearly. She wrote the gossip section in the school newspaper, and she sure was good at it.
I know she wrote some stuff about me in regards of Alicia, but I pretended not to notice.
"Don't creep up on me like that!" I said, straightening my spine and looking at the floor.
"Don't change the subject! Liking who?" She snapped, taking out a note pad and a pen.
"What?" Did I say that out loud? "Don't you have other gossip stuff to take care of?"
Maybe you should just mind your own business ..
"The students have been shutting their mouths when I pop in the lunch room or the classes, ever since I publicized the fact that Fiona is pregnant with the gym teachers baby..." she shrugged and sat back in her seat across from me, "We all thought he was supposedly gay.. but tell me!"
Oh yeah, we thought Fiona raped him or something. He was kinda hot, and she was the biggest whore to be.
"Okay fine, but not here. I'll tell you soon." I said, digging in my book bag and taking out my schedule.
I looked through it and glared at Lesley, "What you doing?" She asked, taking a peek at the paper.
"Nothing... Just checking my schedule." I lied. I was actually checking to see if I had I a free period today so I could come up with a lie, and I didn't.
Me and Lesley made small talk about 'Gossip for You, & Me' as we walked to our next class, awkward silence filling in the spaces that aren't already filled with conversation. Gossip for You & Me was Lesley's section in the school newspaper.
We entered the classroom and everybody went shush causing Lesley roll her eyes. I chuckled as we walked to our desks.
She wasn't lying.
"You know I'm not going to forget, right?" she said obviously talking about the "who I like" thing.
"I know." I said, sighing. She started paying attention to the front where the teacher was writing our prompts.
"Okay class, today we will learn about Imaginary Units." Mr. Siera said, grabbing the math book, "Turn to page sixty one."

I walked out of the art classroom shaking my hand lightly. Art, the one time of day that I write/draw like a maniac.
"Hi, Roslyn, sorry about Jarred, he's an asshole for doing what he did." Alexa Hernan, a girl I got to work on a project with, walked up to me and gave me a somewhat awkward hug.
She was a really nice ginger, but very nosy. She probably doesn't even know the situation and wants a scoop on it.
"Thanks but don't bother, I'm over it." I shrugged. But just the mention of that asshole made my heart ache, "it's whatever."
She nodded before leaving to her group of friends.
I turned around to leave for Gym but I find Lesley standing right there, again scaring me. "What is up with people doing that!"
