"So, Gulf." Mild cleared his throat and put his fist against his mouth. It is as if he's holding a microphone, just like what reporters do. "Tell me about your first day of class. Is there anything special happened?" And then he passed the invisible microphone to Gulf. Classes for today are all finished and he is just waiting for Mew's message so they can now work on their assignment.

With the emphasis Mild made with that SPECIAL-thingy that happened on his first fay of class, he couldn't help but to blush just by the thought of it. He still can't believe that he's now seatmates with Mew. Who would've thought that prayers do come true, and super fast at that?

Gulf then decided to grab the invisible microphone and play with the little game that Mild has for him.

"Uhm. You see. It's a VERYYYYYY SPECIAAAAAAAAAL day today." He stood up, with both hands on the invisible mic, even closing his eyes as he tries to recall his special day.

"Of all the vacant seats in the classroom, P'Mew decided to sit next to mine. Can you believe it?" He went near Mild and shook the hell out of him as he was saying those.

"Can you?"

"Can you?"

"Can you? Aaaaaaah. Because I, I still can't believe it~"

Mild on the other hand, felt a little dizzy because of what Gulf did to him.

"Hey, easy easy. You'll kill my few remaining brain cells if you keep shaking me.

Alright, let's say you are now so close to your one and only crush. But have you ever heard of the saying, 'So near yet so far' ?"

And Gulf went silent. The happiness he was enjoying earlier turned into sadness. Yes, Mild's right. No matter how near he is to Mew, he will never get to tell him about his feelings. And it's sad. Really sad.

"So what? In the first place, I have already decided to keep my feelings for myself. It's already enough for me to see him everyday, by my side. Isn't that more than enough, huh? And Mild! Don't ruin my happiness or I'll kill you!" He raised his fist, ready to throw punches at Mild when suddenly his phone rang.

Mild, whose hands were blocking himself just in case Gulf would attack him, can finally put his hands down as Gulf is now busy checking his phone. And noticeably extremely happy while staring at his phone.

"Let me guess. It's the message you've been waiting for since earlier, right?" Mild went closer to the stoned Gulf and sneaked a peak on his phone.

"5 PM at Starbucks. Sharp."

"Is that message really worth the look on your face, Gulf, huh? You're in a big trouble. I'm telling you. You and your one-sided love. Tsk tsk." Mild said while shaking his head.

But Gulf pays no attention to Mild at all. All that matters is the message he received from Mew. Aside from that, nothing else.

"Oh my goodness, look at the time! I'll be late if I stay here. I'll be going now, okay? Besides, you still have to meet with your seatmate, right? See you tomorrow."

And then Gulf left, without even looking at Mild.

"You silly Gulf. I just hope you won't get too hurt with that one-sided love of yours. Hays." Mild whispered to himself as he watches Gulf walks away from him.

Mild is very supportive of Gulf. He listens to every update about Mew that Gulf has acquired for these past few years. And it's on a daily basis, mind you. Even those girls that Mew has rejected, he knows them all. After all, he is the only friend Gulf has got and being Gulf's human diary is his job. He complains none at all. In fact, if Gulf is happy, he, too, is happy. But he can't bear in mind the pain it will bring Gulf once the day they both are most afraid of came: the day Mew rejected Gulf.
