Serai POV

After getting in the rental car, we somehow found ourselves at the mall where my bestie Alexis now worked I had called her earlier and told her I was back in town for a little while so here we are.

My mission was to find Alex and gossip all day but the minute I enter the food court where we were to meet my mouth instantly watered.

"Serai!"

"Huh.."

"Serai over here!"

Turning around following her voice our eyes met and I immediately smiled as I began to walk in her direction with the gang close behind.

As soon as we were just a few feet away from each other she got up and smile that was all it took for us to get back into our old roles, getting up as I stopped in front of her we both squealed jumping on her we laughed all hugged up.

(A/N this is actually something my close cousin and I do whenever we see each other which isn't often since I live in Jamaica and she lives in New York people/family always be looking at us crazy I don't see why)

Before someone has the audacity to clear their dried up throat extra loud.

"What?!" Alexis and I both snapped looking back at the person who must be losing their mind to be interrupting us, who just had to be Kaden.

"Serai unwrap yo legs off the girl, y'all got people looking at us crazy."

Still wrapped up on her we both turned to him and said "So."

"Serai."

"Ugh fine."

Unwrapping my legs I stood up straight looking at her taking her hands in mine we squealed once again hopping from one leg to the other.

"Girl you just don't know how much I missed you."

"Oh I think she gets it."

"I swear baby you be on that hating ish today." I said looking over my shoulder at Kaden.

"Oh before I forget Lexi you remember my brothers Kevin and Eric,"

"Yeah hi its nice to see y'all again."

"Well these two," I said walking over to Tamia and my baby.

"Are Tamia Campbell my other best friend as well as Kev's girl and this caramel treat is-"

"Excuse me?" Kevin stopped me to ask.

"Kevin please..."

"Nah run that by me again."

"Ugh boy if you don't-"

"Baby ease up you know Serai is only playing now stop."

"As I was saying this caram- is my boyfriend Kaden." I finished with him putting his arm around my shoulder extending his hand for Lexi to shake .

Walking over to her she smiled at everyone before turning to me dropping her voice to whisper she says

"Girlll where you find him at and does he a brother, cousin damn a friend."

"Girl you need some water, cause yo ass seem hella thirsty," I said while laughing a little before getting serious and continuing.
