DINNER.

noun

a formal evening meal, typically one in honor of a person or event.

"¡TIENES CINCO SEGUNDOS PARA EXPLICAR QUÉ COÑO ESTÁ PASANDO O VOY A GANARLE EL CULO A ALGUIEN!" My mother yelled with a bat in her hand.

[YOU HAVE FIVE SECONDS TO EXPLAIN WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON OR I'M GOING TO BEAT SOMEONE'S ASS!]

"¡Mamá, él es solo mi amigo!" I replied, gripping the covers. Alex was quickly putting on his pants and shoes as my mom gave him the death glare.

"¡Apresúrate!" My mom rushed him.

[Quickly!]

Alex was getting ready to climb out the window but my Mom started to open her mouth which signaled Alex to use the front door.

"So sorry, Ms. Ross." Alex apologized, grabbing his shirt and rushing out.

None of us said a word until we heard the front door close meaning Alex was gone.

"Ok, dime, ¿estuvo buena la polla?"

[Ok, tell me, was the dick good?]

"Mom!" I took a pillow and put it over my face.

"Hey, I just wanna know," She shrugged innocently and sat on my bed.

"We didn't have sex, mama." I responded.

"So you just have a boy in your bed who had their arms wrapped around you - which I'm assuming meant you slept like that, - woke up with a boner, and was shirtless?" She raised her eyebrow. "You must not know who I am."

"My friend and I went to the club, danced, I drank a little–"

"Ey!"

"Would you rather me lie to you, mama?"

Her lips paused in a thin line before replying,

"Continue."

"—I drank a little and drunk texted him to pick me up and he did. He helped me get into the house and laid up in bed. That's it." I explained, leaving out some unnecessary details.

"Okay. But, I'm going to ground you for two weeks because you know my rule about boys; You need to let me know what's going to happen when they come over, who they are, when they're coming a week in advance, and make sure to be safe. As long as I know who the boy is, he's sweet, kind, and treats you properly, I'm okay with them coming over whenever." She restated, causing me to let out a groan.

"What was that? A month?" She put her hand behind her ear.

"No!" I quickly stopped her.

"Oh okay. I thought so." She sassily replied, getting up and heading for the door.

"Be ready at five pm. We're going to have dinner with our neighbors. I forgot to mention it to you yesterday." My mom quickly closed the door, preventing me from objecting.
