CHAPTER TWO

(Short chapter)

The sound of sirens heard here and there, i suddenly feel arms carrying me. I tried opening my eyes to see my house was on fire, my parents body being carried away in body bags, everyone looking at me with wide eyes and some filled with tears. And the feeling of my other eye hurts like heck, tears made it burn in pain even more

I futter my eyes open but still questioned myslef why I couldn't see clearly

"She's waking up" I hear a female doctor's voice say "Nurse, please go get her a cup of water and food" the nurse nodded and went out the room

I see a white clean room with a table beside me, and wires wrapped around my arms and nose

"How ya' doing sweerheart?" The doctors says nicely with nurse coming back with the food and water

"I- I'm fine-...." Before I could continue my troat hurt, I quickly took the water from the nurse and said a little thank you before drinking it

"W-what happened?" I asked still recovering my voice, the doctor looked at me with sad eyes

I munched out the bread the nurse gave me while she explain what had happen, they said someone broke into my house and burned it down. I immediately stop eating, almost dropping the bread

"I'm sorry to say this sweety, but your parents.... They.... Died" the word 'died" kept echoing in my head

I remembered now, my mother and father, the creature, my eye- WAIT MY EYE. I put my hand on my eye and feel it being covered up. The nurse handed me a mirror and I looked at it.... It was covered in bandages

A tear escaped my other eye, looking up at the nurse and doctor I gave them a thank you and force a smile. The nurse nodded and left the room

"Please, take some good rest tonight, miss L/N" The doctor said and went out the room. I quickly bursted into tears and let my weak body hug my knees

"Thank you for everything, I love you guys. Goodbye, mother and father" I whispered to myself and drifted asleep
