My name is (y/n) (l/n), and after a series of events that recently occurred, I was invited, by Professor Ozpin, to skip 2 years and enter Beacon Academy. And so, I took it without a moment's notice, after all, it IS BEACON. You'd imagine that this is the perfect time to be conversing with future hunters and huntresses, especially because of Beacon's arduous team selection process. Many people have in fact already began chatting up, conversations starting with "Hey! You got in! I knew you could do it!" were fairly common in this ride. As for me though...

"This... is awkward as hell..." I muttered to myself, sitting alone on a bench in the corner of the airship.

I totally forgot, skipping 2 years meant leaving all of my friends from Haven behind, and that also means entering with a bunch of people who just graduated this year. Which means...

'I HAVE NO FRIENDS HERE!' I internally screamed at myself, grabbing my face in despair. It's been 8 hours since I've spoken to anyone. I just played games until my phone went and died.

I looked to my right side to see a man dressed in a fancy black blazer with a gold rope suspended from his shoulder to his collar, accompanied by a pair of black and red slacks and a pair of loafers. He too was also alone, reading his book titled, "How to Make Friends (for Dummies)".

'He looks... way too fancy, well, beggars can't be choosers...'

"Hi there!" I approached him with a smile, he ignored me and flipped back a couple of pages.

"Uh... are you waiting for someone?" I asked, his eyebrows furrowed and continued to read.

'This guy... is totally ignoring me. Time to retreat.' I sighed and headed back to my bench.

Well then, looks like my first moments of trying turned out to be a bust... oh well, then again, I am headed to Beacon so this probably isn't so bad... I took a deep sigh before deciding to lay myself down on the bench I was sitting on, not like anyone was gonna sit here anyway. I closed my eyes before being interrupted by a feminine voice.

"Excuse me?" She asked in a tender voice. I looked to the source to find a girl with short blond hair and blue eyes, wearing a stylish t-shirt and a short black skirt finishing off with a pair of stockings and boots. After realizing where my eye-level was, I quickly bolted up and sat straight.

"Ah! S-sorry! I swear, I didn't mean to!" I apologetically blurted while bowing my head quickly.

'Wow, great way to make a friend. Well then, scoreboard, -1 friend, +1 enemy. Go team (y/n)!'

"No it's fine!" She replied grabbing my shoulders.

"No! No! No! I really am sorry!"

"No listen!" She looked at me seriously, grabbing my shoulders and lowering her level before coming closer to my ear.

"I'm a guy." He whispered.

This world... really is scary. I took a deep breathe, analyzing the information just given to me.

"W-Wha- Eh-"

"So don't worry about it bub!" He... he reassured me, slapping my shoulders.

"OI! MAKOTO!" A voice called out from in front of us, there I see a man running towards us at full speed. He had white hair and wore a bomber jacket and jeans, from first glance he looked to be a normal person rather than a hunter.
