It was a dark and rainy day. 6-year old Ruby accidentally forgot to close Zwei's dog house the day before, and is now searching for him despite the negative weather.
"Zwei? Zwei! Come out boy!" Ruby called out, she took a deep breath before continuing her search down the path.
"Zwei? Ah-" She cut herself off, realizing that because of the mud, she has slipped off the slope and onto more mud below.
"Oww... geez, someone should put a fence there..." She muttered, rubbing her lower back.
"That was quite the fall!" A voice spoke out, she looked up in a puzzled expression and met a pair of (e/c) orbs.
"My name is (y/n)! What's yours?" He spoke with a friendly voice, extending his hand and helping her up.
"Uh... Ruby. Sorry, my parents often told me to avoid strangers." She replied, reluctantly.
"Anyway (y/n). Thanks for the help, but I need to go... back." Ruby stopped herself, realizing that the umbrella she used has snapped in two.
"Ah no! Your umbrella! Hmm...." He thought to himself for a second before facing Ruby once more.
"I know where you can stay until the rain is gone, but you gotta keep it a secret! Okay?"
"G-Got it!" Ruby replied, realizing she had no other options.
"Here! Let's go!" He said with a smile, pulling her into his umbrella as they began walking.
"Wakey wakey! Eggs and bakey! We already landed!" A feminine, no wait, Makoto's voice called out.
"I'm up, I'm up." I sighed, propping myself up the bench. Makoto dressed up looking more like a guy, which surprised me.
"Levi? Is that really a guy?"
"I... don't really know, I just accepted that Makoto was a he to make sure that nobody makes any mistakes..." He replied.
"I see... I guess I'll do that to."
"Anyway! William went ahead, and we have plans to explore, so you're on your own for now! See ya!" Levi said, grabbing Makoto by the collar and dragging him out.
"Eh- b-bye then I guess..."
'Alone again, huh?' I sighed to myself, watching more people leave the airship, I decided to get up and leave too. I exited the airship and walked a few steps forward, before reaching the border between the landing platform and Beacon Academy.
'This is it... a new life!' I say in my mind, taking in the moment before setting my right foot forward. As soon as I took the step-
"PLEASE MOVE!" A voice called out as I see a random dash of blond hair fly through my vision. He ran to the trash bin by my side and dipped his head in it.
"Bleeeck..." He sounded out as he vomited into the bin.
"D-Dude?! Are you okay?! Do you need medicine?!" I asked, he raised a finger and vomited for a second before pulling his head up.
"Uugh... do you have... motion sickness medicine?" He asked, in between his gasps. Each gasp of air he let out was the smell of death to my nose.
"I... think so, a mint too, if you need it." I retrieved the two items from my bag and handed them to him. His eyes lit up in response and swiped the items from my palm. He swallowed the medicine then chewed on the mint. After a couple minutes, he was back to looking normal.
