He hasn't been himself from past few days. Mark couldn't help, but think about the beautiful girl he met that day.
"I should have asked her name" Mark muttered to himself
"Who are you talking about?" Even though Shane knew who Mark was talking about, he acted like he's clueless.
"The girl I told you about is the exact one in your mind right now" Mark narrowed his eyes at Shane as he said that. He was annoyed by Shane's act, because Shane was the one who is assigned to call the detective to find her details. And here he was acting like he don't know anything
Flashback........
He was disturbed
'What if I never see her?
What if she was married and she was here to get her kid?'
These were the thoughts that exactly running through his mind
'No no no no no. . . . I will find her'
With that he picked up his phone and called one person who is like his shadow
"Shane. . . I need you to call morgan right now"
"But why?" Shane asked in panic
"I will talk to you in person" Mark told Shane with that he hung up.
Shanewas at mark's penthouse in 30 minutes. Mark told him about a girl who he met and how he helped her. Because Shane was like a brother to him despite him being his PA.
"I want you to talk to Morgan and find her"
"But can I ask you why?" Shane asked in disbelief at his friends demand.
"What why? It's simple I want her" he scowled at Shane who still acts like he don't know how mark is and what he wants
Yes that was exactly Shane was thinking. He knew mark and his playboy ways. And from what he heard from his friend, shane knew the girl is not like the other girls
"It's an order Shane. I need the information I asked for in a week or else...." Mark had this hard expression on his face. Shane knew how crazy mark can get when he wants something. He knew like always he can't do anything,but do what mark said
"Ok" Shane agreed in reluctance without any choice before leaving mark's penthouse
Sitting on his chair Mark smirked as he leaned back looking up at the ceiling. There was a determination in him, the determination of finding the girl who caught his attention.
