Chapter Nine

You stayed with Jungkook and Daeun for a week before you both started to worry about Dylan.

You'd met up with Jin in the middle of the woods so he could check if Daeun was alright, with him being a doctor and all.

No way you'd let him see where you were staying, for all you know he could tell Dylan.

He did however pick up on Jungkooks scent.

[FLASHBACK - DAY AFTER BIRTH]

The next morning you woke up on Jungkooks chest, his arms wrapped around you in a protective manner.

Turning your head you see Daeun sleeping peacefully.

A smile on your face you snuggle back into Jungkooks bare chest.

With a giggle coming from said man, he caresses your hair.

"Hmm good morning baby"

Looking up into his beautiful dark eyes

"Morning"

You lean up to plant a kiss on his face.

"You know Daeun needs to be checked by a doctor to see if she's alright and healthy" you told him.

He nods planting a kiss on your forehead

"What about jin? He's the best doctor I know and he's your brother" he says with a smile.

Your smile is immediately wiped of your face at the mention of your older brother which doesn't go unnoticed by Jungkook.

Frowning he asked what's wrong.

You explained to him how he betrayed him and how the others betrayed him for Dylan.

"Hmm how about you still mindlink him but meet him quite far from here. That way if he decides to tell Dylan where you, where we are. He won't know. But baby I highly doubt he would do that. He's your brother he loves you and besides everyone did think I was dead" Jungkook explains

"Fine. I don't like the idea but he is a doctor so.." you sigh out.

So you'd mind linked Jin to meet you at the lake and to bring his medical supplies for a baby and himself.

Sitting at the lake you nerves rise as you sit holding Daeun waiting for Jin.

"Y/n?"

You turn and see Jin with his medical supplies, he comes closer and kneels in front of you.

As he does this however his eyebrows furrow, catching onto a scent which would be impossible to miss.

Seeing his nose sort of wiggles as he sniffs more, go get what he smells

"Is that-

Eyes widening you deny it

"No! How could it be if he's dead?" You ask

"Y/n I know what I smell and I smell jungkook and it's a fresh scent, where is he?"

Huffing You say

"Do you really think I'd tell you when you've betrayed him? Just please check Daeun and leave"

Hurt flashes through jins eyes. But none the less he does what you told him too.

"She's all healthy, congratulations. She's gorgeous" he says as he tries to caress his nieces small head, but you turn her away from him.

"I need to go now, I appreciate you looking and checking if she's healthy" you turn your back in him and start walking away.

Hurt and disappointment flashed through his eyes as he teared up.
Hurt that his only true family hates him and disappointment in himself for believing his strong alpha had died so easily.

A/N: I know it took long and that it's short but I promise you all I will update more often. school won't get in the way either my collage courses are online for the first month so I'll have a lot of time to update this book a lot more until it finishes.
