Marisha's POV

I have been contemplating my image on the mirror for a long time.

I'm getting ready for marriage.

Yes. My marriage.

"Sir won't be able to divert his attention to anything today Maam . You are looking so pretty. " the beautician said with a slight teasing tone.

It's been a month since our date night.

"I want to marry you".

"Have you completely lost it?" "I don't even know you ". I am now wide awake.

"I don't care about that. If you want to save  your god damn family then marry me. " He is now crossing his limit.

"How dare you? And what is my family?" I am tensed now.

He gave me a file.

My famile is  bankrupted!!!!!! My eyes widened in shock.

"When did this happen?" I whisper to myself.

"See you don't know anything,  Now. What will happened babygirl? Only I can save them" He smirked.

"Can you please drop me off?" I said.

"Okay,  I will wait for your answer ". He said.

After that he dropped me home. I spent that night thinking.

Later in the morning I asked my parents about that ,

"Mom, Dad Is our company going really bad?" I asked them. They both shared a knowing look .

"Yes, Baby but you don't worry. We will find a way for sure." Mom said with slumped shoulder.

I never saw them this defeated.

Then I made my decision . "I will marry you". I called him and said.

But Mom and Dad is really happy.

I woke up late at morning.  I heard some noise coming from downstairs.  I got ready and descend the stairs.

Mom, Dad, Xavier, The couple; I assume Xavier's parents; they were all seated.

Suddenly the woman came and hugged me.

"Oh!! You are really a pretty girl. Oh! I forgot to introduce myself I am Xavier's mother " she chirped happily.

"Isha, they came here for your hand.  Xavier is saying you already said yes . Is that true?" Mom said half smiling with narrow eyes.

"Actually Mom..." I was saying something but Xavier came beside me sliding his arms around my waist pulling me closer ;sparks exploded again.I blushed looking down.

"Babygirl! Aunt is asking something.." He said giving a blow to my earlobe.

I gulped ...
A cough from his Dad broke us.
