-Kai's P.O.V.-

"W-What?!"
I was shaking at Jason's words.
I just convince myself that everything was fine and now this?!

"You take the power,the power of red diamond.
Right?"

Goddamn,my hands were shaking and my legs were becoming numb.
I didn't know if Chen tells him to kill me or capture me.
However if he did i'm not ready to defend myself.

I'm so afraid,my whole body felt weak all of sudden.
I felt to weak to fight,and thought of Jason who I believed and trusted,now pushing me away too as well as those traitors before was killing me.

Is this true?
Does life really need to be that way? Was I naive for trusting someone after betrayal?
Was Jason really as same as everyone else?

I didn't wanted to believe that, but my head feels so heavy now.
As I am about to pass out, but I won't...

-Third P.O.V.-

Kai wasn't ready for this.
He couldn't even collect all his thoughts together from fear he felt.

For the moment,it looked like as he was falling again,as if the world around him is drowning in deep water of who was he always afraid of.

He looked on the ground unsure,
But Jason didn't show anger,nor wish to put Kai down.

He noticed how Kai shrugged looking at floor hopeless,and immediately came closer to his leader, his friend.

He put both of his hands on Kai's cheeks and gently pull his head up so Kai's worried eyes could meet his.

"Kai-" Jason spoke softly,trying to calm the one who was like his brother.
"It's ok."

Flame ninja looked at his teammate a bit confused,he wasn't sure if Jasom was playing with him or actually being Jason, Jason he knew and who knows him.

"What?..." Kai whispered,his eyes filled with shock.

"I'm not mad, just tell me the truth." Jason calmed Kai with his dear and soft voice,from which Kai can tell that Jason wants no harm to him.

He wasn't sure if he should believe it,but does he has some other choice?
He's the one that has almost nothing to choose from the very begining.

Jason,Azrel and Marcus all had to choose to leave their old family's,but Kai had no other choice then to try his best to stay alive.
Kai didn't choose,nor wanted this power at first place.
He touched the diamond without thinking and it just happened.

He has no other choice now rather then trying to keep it and use it the best way he could.

And now,being without any other choice as well,he took a deep breath, then diceided to face the truth.

"It...It was an accident." He began,his voice breaking a bit,but with every new breath it gets easier for him to speak.
Jason stayed in place,listening to his words carefully.

"While going down there to that diamond,I almost had no control over my body.
When I get to it uninjured and saw diamond in front of my eyes,I was so amazed and just grab that without thinking.
And then...well,that's how it happened..."

Kai looked aside,still unsure if Jason was just playing dumb.
But Jason was not,and his calm voice convince that to Kai.

"Hey, don't have that expression,it's fine.
Biseides,how could you save us if you didn't take that power?
It was the destiny that has spoken,you got the power you deserved.
It may not be a green but, red may be an even better option."
