Chapter 20-Marcus' Plan

-Kai's P.O.V.-

"I'm glad that I can move at least a little bit without feeling any pain."
Jason said while moving his head slowly from left to right.
I'm kinda suprised 'buot how better he actually got since yesterday.

Specially because of what had happend last night. Doctor said that he should avoid anything stressfull but I guess remembering his brother again wasn't sressful as sad it was.
But if nothing else, it's better to be sad, and let all your feelings out, then feeling empty and broken.

"I'm glad too, but you still need rest." I said before I turned to him after setting up my cloak.
I sat down next to him as I continue.

"Where does it hurt the most?" I asked him with caring voice.
He frowned as he looked at his hand that slowly moved around his back and neck.

"I feel pain there when I'm moving. Pain is sharp and unbearable."
I hate too see him in pain, so I could do anything I would to make him feel better.

I made him food, bring him water or something else if he needs it, help him to get up and or to get to the bathroom.

But I think that what I do that helps him the most is when we spend time together.
We are both glad that at least we can have some quality time together now that he's not able to fight.
We are able to talk about stuff that doesn't have much to do with battles or ninjas, we get to have fun.
I guess that's our good in bad right now.

"You know what to do. Stay calm and tell me if there's something you need."

"Wait, are you not going on battle today?" Jason got his hopes high when he didn't heard me mentioning it.

"No, but it won't last long. Ninjas finally diceided to fight a bit more serious." There was a bit of dissapointed in his face, but it didn't lasted too long.

"Well good luck in battle today then. I hope I'll soon be able to be there too."

"You will, don't worry." After giving him a kind smile I get ready and lead to the hall where me and my team usually met when we're about to go on a battle,sometimes Chen came here too to tell me if there's a meeting or something.

I waited with my arms crossed gently leaning on one of the pillars waiting for Azrel and Marcus to come.

I didn't move but with the edge of my eye I noticed two coming and pushing eachother like they're whispering and planning something.

As they took a few steps closer to me they stopped looking kinda...scared and serious?
I'm not quit sure.

And by the weird, soft and awkward smile that Marcus gave me I knew they're plan something.

"Hey Kai." He said, tryin' to smile as natural as he can. And honestly, he wasn't bad.It almost looks real as he's truly smiling at me.

"What are you two planning?" I get to the point, not wanting to play with them. However, smile stayed at their faces, which looked like they don't made any trouble and actually wanted to talk.

"Well I wanted to ask you for something. Since I need your promission to ask you, a deupity, if I want to bring the whole team in it."

Marcus continuous. I know he just wants me to let him do whatever he is up to but goddamn, he sounded and looked like he didn't.
