15. ..This and That..

"You can't really hold to someone..Cause tighter you hold onto them,the more they wnna slip away....All you can do is love them, And make sure they know that you're never gonna slip away..."

It had been a week since they returned from the camp, Sidharth rushed back to home from work urgently, the gaurd looked at him confusedly as he grinned at him handing him the keys asking him to park his car mumbling how he is already late..as he just rushed up to his floor in their three floored house..

"Sidharth baba..or vo bhi apni gaadi ki chabi de gaye..jab se yha naukri lga hai, chahe kuch ho jaye baba apni gaadi to kisi ko nhi hath lgane dete..ye ho kya gaya hai baba ko 8 bje aakar bhi late lg raha hai..jab se chutti se aaye hain,ek hafte se zyada hi jaldi aane lage hai, phle kaha 12-1 bje se phle ghar hi nhi aate the" he says shaking his head in amusement as he got in the car ever so carefully parking it as its spot..

Sidharth rushed open the gate of his house and quickly switched on the electricity swooping in towards his laptop as he looked at the time and smiled to himself "On time..not bad" ...he switched on the laptop adjusting webcam to his face as he excitedly accepted the call

"Hello sweetheart"

"Heyy..handsome"

"Handsome..not bad" he said as he adored her from the other end of the screen, it has been just a week but his heart longed for her, she looked more adorable to him everyday and he had no logic to think that..

"Aap abhi ghar aaye daa" she said looking at him still sitting in his formal clothes

"Haan baby..got a bit late today..how was your day, Did you submit that assignment today" he asked as he adored her hair tied carefully in two pony tails with a pink hairband on them, she looked like the most beautiful lil girl to him

"Han Da..See I got an A" she said showing it to him pouting

"Arre to A is good na..why are you sad about it" he said concernedly as he loosened his tie, even her little sadness churned his stomach, he just felt that sort of strange connect with her..

"I wanted A+ on this one" she said still pouting

"And why is that"

"Because we both did it..puri raat baith kar" she said in her baby voice making him laugh at her cuteness and relief that she equally valued her moments with him like he did, he needed this self assurance again and again to settle his insecurity, the thought crippled his heart with fear that she just might forget about him and vanish from his life, her such little unintentional words assured him..his heart was still full from how last night they both sat on video call till midnight finishing her school assignment, she could have done it with her mother but the way she clings onto him and asks him to do things with all her rights makes him feel special like he never did..he was sitting lost in his thoughts smiling at her, as she blabbered telling every little detail about her day when suddenly he heard something that broke his chain of thoughts..

"You know we have to go to Papa's place for a week"

"Hn" Sidharth coming out of his chain of thoughts and confirming though he heard what she said

"Haan, aj na papa ki mother aayi thi..to I just heard ki she was telling that ek hafte aana pdega" Sidharth's insecurities surfaced again, he did not know what scared his heart more..Vaidehi forgetting him or Shehnaaz going back to him, he knew former was enough to cripple his heart but later thought also crumpled him, she had not talked to him since they last got into their own cars from the camp that day, she knew Vaidehi and he talked everyday, but she made sure to not even give her glimpse throughout the video call, he would hear her voice calling out Vaidehi, talking to her, or like last night he saw her back as they completed Vaidehi assignment, but no she never talked to him or even looked at him, that angered and pained him at the same time, why has she her walls so high, she keeps pushing him away and sometimes he thought it was better because if anything did happen and did not work out he could not lose Vaidehi as well..So he decided to let her be and leave things on destiny for now......
