"PEOPLE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR audition number is clearly visible on your clothes. This is not a game" Carlos yelled dramatically
Lexi chuckled "Calm down honey" she said patting his shoulder. She looked around and saw that there weren't too many people auditioning. Her eyes found EJ and Nini sat on front of one of the mirrors, she overheard the end of their conversation as she walked past them towards the auditorium.
"I'm kinda bummed we don't have any competition here. It would make getting the leads all the sweeter" EJ said
Lexi faked a cough as she passed them "Jerk" she coughed, when they stared at her she just held a fake smile "Sorry, I have a terrible cough" With that she walked out of the room.
"Okay theatre people, lets do this!" Miss Jenn lead everyone into the theatre.
ALEXA WAS DANCING AT THE FRONT of the group, with the new girl, who was an amazing dancer. Lexi was able to keep up with the new girl, being a good dancer and she was danced flawlessly. "Yes come on, one! Kill it Lexa!" Carlos cheered
"Is this Alexa that is helping your choreograph?" Miss Jenn asked Carlos quietly
Carlos nodded "She's amazing" he hyped up his best friend "That's it for the warm up!"
Ashlyn ran over to Lexi with a huge grin "I will never get over how talented you are! I mean how many people can say they are a triple threat" she asked
"Quite a few actually" Lexi chuckled "But thanks, but come on, you can dance, sing and act too"
Ashlyn shook her head "I can barely dance"
"Fight me bitch" Lexi scoffed
Miss Jenn clapped her hands "Everyone pair up, not with a friend. Theatre is a community!"
Alexa walked over to the new girl and introduced herself "Hi, I'm Alexa, you can call me Lexi"
"Gina"
"You are an amazing dancer" Lexi complimented
"You are the cutest, thanks. You were also great out there" Gina replied with a smile "So have you played the lead here before?"
Lexi shook her head "No, I don't really mind though, as long as I can sing and dance, I don't care about the role I get" she smiled "What about you? You seem very talented"
"I've never been cast as an understudy before" Gina shrugged. Lexi just nodded slowly.
"And we're back!" Miss Jenn yelled

MISS JENN HAD LINED EVERYONE UP along the stage, as she walked down the line to give everyone their parts "I want you to read for Ryan, you are giving major Taylor vibes, you're probably a chad" She stopped as she reach Ashlyn, who was next to Alexa. "You, you are giving me uncommon depth. Miss Darbus?"
"I am dying. I'm deceased. Yes!" Ashlyn grinned making Alexa laugh to herself
Miss Jenn nodded as Carlos handed her a script "You're application says you play piano"
Ashlyn shrugged slightly "I dabble" she said modestly
"Ever written a song?"
"Not that I've ever shared with anyone" She shared a look with Lexi
Miss Jenn nodded again "I always thought that Miss Darbus should have her own Act 2 power ballad. We can side bar" she said before looking to Lexi "Sharpay?"
Lexi paused, she knew that's what Seb wanted so she shook her head slightly "I'd rather play someone else" she replied
"How about I give you the Gabriella sides and we can decide from there?" Miss Jenn questioned. Lexi nodded with a smile, it would be a dream to play Gabriella. Miss Jenn continued down the line "Gabriella?" She asked Gina
