PRACTISING THE CURTAIN CALL WAS the first thing that the cast were preparing for. Carlos and Alexa were teaching Ricky and Nini the dance before their bow. Ricky was driving her insane because he just wasn't getting it. "Okay, I'm kinda lost, if the okay is over, why are we still dancing?" He asked

"It's a curtain call, you two are last out. We want to bring the audience to their feet" Carlos explained

Ricky nodded "Teach them the dance" he pointed to his sister

Lexi, although annoyed with her brothers lack of dance coordination, burst into laughter at the comment "Sure" she said with a giggle

Nini gritted her teeth at the twins "Carlos, can't we wait for Miss Jenn?"

Carlos shook his head "Miss Jenn is busy tracking down a prop, she asked me to create a crescendo people. So, lets stop swirling, and start twirling" he clapped

Ricky's face morphed to confusion "But why are we practising the bows, if we haven't even practised the play?"

"Because you have to start with the hardest dance, that takes the longest time to learn" Lexi explained, she knew Ricky was trying, but he didn't know anything about musicals.

"It's in the big book of broadway" Carlos added

"Page 374" Carlos, Lexi and Gina said simultaneously. Carlos looked at Gina impressed, before high fiving Lexi. "Okay, people! Let's take it from three counts of eight before Troy and Gabriella's entrance for the bows"

The music started to play, and the dancers, including Alexa, started to do the choreo that Carlos had previously put together. Then Ricky and Nini ran on to now, Nini did the choreography almost perfect, while Ricky tried his best but ended up doing awkward jazz squares.

"I'm sorry" Ricky apologised

"What is he doing?" Nini turned to Carlos

Ricky rolled his eyes "Why are you talking to him? I'm right here"

This time Nini rolled her eyes "Cause you're not here. At least not for the right reasons"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ricky scoffed

"You hate musicals, Ricky. You're only doing this so we'll be in each other's grills" Nini yelled

"Not everything has to do with you, Nina" Lexi defended her brother, even though Nini was telling the truth, it was obvious that Ricky was trying.

"This has nothing to do with you, Lexi" Nini snapped back

"Alexa to you" Lexi glared at the girl

Carlos took this as his cue to step in "Back to the dance, please"

But Nini wasn't finished yet "Now you are rubbing some weird cologne on your neck"

"Hey! You love Throb!" Ricky yelled back

"And you are wasting everybody's time by making fun of something we all take seriously"

Carlos finally flipped his lid "Okay! That's five people! Everyone out! Get out!" He yelled. Everyone fled the room, except Ricky, Nini, Lexi and Carlos.

"Hey, I do take this seriously" Ricky protested

Nini scoffed "No you don't! You don't take anything seriously. You just, you coast. And the second someone asked you to make a commitment you make a joke, or you sink, you sink into some imaginary hole in the floor!" She yelled

Lexi had had it "Do you even hear yourself? Get over it Nini, he's trying here!" She yelled

"No he's just using this play as an excuse to get close to me! He's only trying because I met someone else-"
