Four Days later

Charlotte's POV

After finding out that my girlfriend and best friend were missing, I spent my time being really depressed with Sasha. The cops never gave us any updates on what was going on with the investigation. It was hard to not be around them all the time. We both really missed them. "We should investigate ourselves." I blurt out sitting on my bed. "What?" She asked somewhat shocked. "I'm serious. The police department is like that one on Pretty Little Liars. They're not getting anywhere with this investigation, and Bayley and Becky could be dead by now." I say. She sits next to me. "You know PLL is fake right?" I roll my eyes at her question. "Yes I know it's fake but still we need to find out what happened. I want to save them." She nods and grabs my computer. "So what do we know so far?" She asks. I shrug. "We know that there was an incident in Bayley's room and that both Bayley and Becky are missing." I tell her. She types on her computer. "And Bayley's mom." She says. "What?" "Oh Bayley's mom went missing about two months ago. She only told me though." Sasha explains. I nod as she continues typing. "Okay we need both Bayley and her mom's files." I say. "Well how are we supposed to get them?" "Umm hello daughter of the mayor." I remind her. "Good, call him." She orders. "DAD COME HERE." I scream. Sasha slaps my arm. "Ow what was that for." I rub my arm. "For bursting my eardrum." She pauses. "Isn't your dad out of town?" "He was but he came back when he found out about Bayley and Becky. My mom's still out of town though." I explain. She nods.

My dad enters my room. "You need something Charlie?" He asks. I hear Sasha snicker and I elbow her in the ribs. "We need a couple people's files. Bayley Martinez and her mother I'm not sure what her name is." I tell him. "Decided to take matters into your own hands huh. That my girl. I'll make a phone call to the office and have Timothy pick them up from legal. Anything else." "Actually yes we need the medical file for Bayley's mom from San Jose Medical Center." Sasha says. He nods and starts to make calls.

Bayley's POV

I laid down on the floor covered in blood and bruises. My body in complete pain. "You okay Bayley?" Becky asked. "Yes." I whisper. "I'm glad." She says. "Are you okay?" I ask her. "No. I'm scared. I want to leave." She says, her voice now sounds shaky as if she's crying. I get up and pull her to me. "Don't cry Bex. I know that they're looking for us. They'll definitely find us. They just have to look in the right places. I know that Sasha and Charlotte will find us. Remember what you called them the other day?" She laughs and nods. "Supergirl and Ms. Purse strings." She says. I felt like we were five. "Sasha is like a superhero, isn't she?" "Yeah. She makes it her mission to protect all the innocent people. And Charlotte pulls her magical purse strings to get the stuff she needs." I squeeze Becky tightly. "We'll get out of here." I promise her, not knowing how or when.

Sasha's POV

"Thanks Mr. Flair." I say handing one of the files to Charlotte. "You're Welcome. Tell me when you need more information." He says. "Yes sir." He walks away and I close the bedroom door. " Okay so what ya got?" I ask. "So Olivia Martinez a.k.a Bayley's Mom is a Lawyer. She's known as the Shark because she basically tears the other people apart. She's only lost a case once. Olivia was a military kid and moved to several different cities, states and countries. Her dad died overseas. She's really freaking smart. Was in and out of the hospitals when she was two. And has a pretty clean record. The only stuff documented is her charity work." Charlotte explains. "How, bout you?" "Well, Bayley is the type of kid to be voted "sweetest student" for the yearbook. The only bad thing she's done is get into a fight in eighth grade. But that's her school record nothing else." I tell her. "Wow, Bayley in a fight." "I know right. Hey what law office does Olivia work for?" "Umm Wilson's Law." "Okay let's go there." I say putting on my jacket. "Okay."

We get to Wilson's Law and I talk to the lady at the front desk. "Hi, we were here sent by Mr. Flair, I'm Sasha and this is Charlotte his daughter. We were looking for someone who could give us some information on a Ms. Olivia Martinez." I say trying to sound really professional. "Her assistant Dakota, should have some information about her. I'll call her up." She says. I nod and grab and couple peppermints from the candy bowl, handing Charlotte one. A few minutes later a girl comes out of the elevator. "Hi, I'm Dakota." She says. I shake her hand and introduce myself and Charlotte. "So you wanted to talk about Ms.Martinez?" She asks. "Yes and her daughter went missing and we're helping investigate. I reply kind of lying. "Well what do you want to know?" "Anything and everything." "Well I met Ms. Martinez three almost four years ago. She's the type of person you're always nervous to be around. And no one's kidding when they call her a shark, but overall she's a nice person. I remember going into the interview and noticing her covered in bruises, fading ones mostly. She had moments where she broke down right in the office. She had a lot of abuse cases, those were her main focus. She made sure that the defendant got exactly what he or she deserved. She would always talk about her daughter, Bayley and how she couldn't wait to have her living with her again. She would constantly spend her free weekends visiting her kid. She loved Bayley with all her heart." Dakota explains. Charlotte stays beside me constantly taking notes. "Anything else?" I ask. She shakes her head. "Nothing to help you." She pauses, thinking for a second. "Actually yeah. When I met her she was newly divorced. I think that would be the best lead." I nod. "Thank you for you time and help. It was a pleasure to meet you." I tell her before shaking her hand again and leaving.

"Wow Ms. Professional. You should be a private investigator."Charlotte teased. I roll my eyes. "What notes ya got?" "I wrote down stuff that seems irrelevant for the most part. I did however make sure to get the stuff about her bruises and her abuse cases. She seemed to have been really determined to get justice for all her clients. Her love for Bayls was pretty sweet. The divorce was added to the other clues." She says. I start thinking back to the time I was with Bayley in the hospital. I then remember what she says about her mom and dad. "The divorce of course. How did I not think of that before. Bayley's mom was strong, she fought Bayley's dad to keep him from hurting Bayley." I say. I slowly feel like the dots were connecting. "Let's go to the station.
