Cheat the Devil

Must stick between 250-350 words.

It was pouring outside so, boringly, I decided to navigate on the internet looking for something interesting. I consider myself as someone who cannot be alone, otherwise I will die of boredom so I needed to manage it in order not to melt on the floor. I looked for bakery tips, drawing tutorials, some people ranting on youtube for the most stupid reason. Nothing caught my attention. Hardly had I started to give up, I found an article about esoterism – a subject about magic stuff.

It was a bit boring, too, but something was really disturbing. "You MUSTN'T use magic for devilish things or it will be delivered thrice to you." Said the blog. Would not be interesting to give it a try? I personally do not believe in occultism or whatever this is but... I can prove if they are wrong – or me. I wrote an objects list on a dirty sheet of paper which I tore from a newspaper. Gratefully, I had most of those items at home and the ones I did not have, could be replaced so let's start! I lighted my white candle, which was surrounded by a black lace, then I spitted inside a glass with water, removing it with a wooden stick. Thirdly, I wrote the name of the person I most hate in a new sheet of paper – a clean one this time – and burning it down, letting the ashes fall in the glass. I did not feel weird or anything until I felt extremely hot.

My feet were so hot that it was painful. I grabbed the sleeves of my jeans and pulling them up, only to see a bright red light surrounding my shoes. I screamed in agony and ran towards the bathroom to let my feet down the cold shower. It still felt as if my feet were melting. Crying by this torment, I swore that I won't do evil anymore and asked this person for forgiveness. Then, the irritation stopped and felt nothing. Everything was ok again. And this is how I cheated the devil, this is how you can do black magic and gain nothing else harmful for you.
