Ashton's gonna dress differently in this story ok? Ok. Picture it as the outfit above.

Luke

When I woke up, Ashton was gone and the side of the bed he slept on was messed up. I rubbed my eyes a little before sitting up and resting against the headboard. I then grabbed my phone and squinted my eyes at the bright screen.

8:03

Shit.

My first class started at 8:30, and I think my mom would actually kill me if I was late to class on the first day of college. I could already hear her lecture.

'First impressions could make or break you.'

I rolled my eyes at her voice in my head, before I slipped on some black skinny jeans, a grey band tee, and a red flannel. I then quickly went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, and style my hair.

I didn't have time to quiff it, so I let it stick to my forehead as I made my way towards the door and put on some all black converse.

I grabbed my phone and charger, along with my bag, and slammed the door shut as I ran down the hallway.

"Shit, shit, shit!" I muttered to myself, pressing the down button on the elevator like twenty times in a row. I breathed out heavily before turning around and heading for the stairs.

I made my way down them quickly, before walking out of the building and running towards the main one. College students flooded the campus, some eating breakfast, other listening to music while sitting on a bench.

I envied them for having spare time, but then cursed myself for realizing I didn't have to be late, I just overslept.

It's not my fault my mom was my alarm clock for eighteen years.

I finally made it to my class, sitting down in the front row, setting down my bag as my professor walked into the large room.

"Hello all." He greeted.

I sighed, running my hands through the my messy hair. I started to walk to the closest food joint, before hearing my name being called from behind me.

"Luke!"

I smiled as I recognized the voice, and turned around to face Ashton. He had on light baggy jeans, a Nike white t-shirt, and some Air Force 1s. He looked laid back as he ran a hand through his hair, catching up to me.

"Hey." He said, both of us continuing to walk.

"Hey." I said back, licking my lips.

"Where are you headed?" He asked, holding a notebook and a textbook in his right hand. I shrugged.

"I'm just looking for a place to eat. I'm starving."

"I have the perfect place!" Ashton said excitedly, pulling on my hand with his empty one, and began running down the sidewalk.

I breathed heavily as we made our way a couple of blocks away from campus.

"I think that's enough exercise for me probably for the next week or so." I said, putting a hand on my hip, opening my mouth to take in some more oxygen. Ashton just laughed as he pushed open the door to the fast food place.

"I'll order us something and you go pick a table." Ashton said, starting to walk over to counter before I could say anything.

I shoved my hands in my pockets, finding a small table in the corner of the food place. I sat down, waiting for Ashton to come back over. The fast food restaurant was pretty busy, making it noisy and hard to hear over the amount of people talking to each other.

Soon enough Ashton was coming back, and he had set down a burger, fries, and a soda in front of me.

I raised my eyebrow, "I've eaten a burger before, Ashton." I said, with a light chuckle. Ashton rolled his eyes.

"They taste really good. Probably better then any other one you've eaten before." He said, taking a bite of his own. I shrugged and brought the greasy burger up to my mouth. I took a bite, immediately moaning as the taste made me close my eyes in ecstasy. "Good right?" Ashton laughed.

I nodded, biting off more of the burger.

"So," Ashton started, making me look up at him with a mouthful of food. "I'm going to a party tomorrow. Would you like to come?"

"But it's a school night. We have class."

"Luke it's college. You can party whatever day you'd like." Ashton said matter-of-factly. I pursed my lips, looking to the side, then back at Ashton's face.

"I guess you're right. Sure. Yeah, sure I'll go." I said, taking a sip of my drink. Ashton smiled successfully, before finishing his food.

"You're gonna have so much fun."

It was Thursday afternoon, meaning I would be attending the party with Ashton in four hours. I was nervous of course because number one it was my first college party, and number two, I know absolutely nobody here except Ashton and somewhat his two friends.

I sat alone in our dorm, scrolling through random things on my phone. The rain outside was calming, because well, Arizona barely ever rained, so when it did you learn to appreciate it.

I sighed, before setting my phone down on the nightstand next to me bed. I turned over on to my stomach, putting my face into my pillow to relax a bit.

It was probably a few moments of silence before it was all interrupted by the door bursting open and a lot of shouting following it.

"Lucas wake up!" I could hear Michael about, before jumping on my back. I groaned at the force hitting my back, before sitting up.

"It's just Luke." I muttered, rubbing my eyes as Ashton and Calum entered the dorm.

"Hey Luke." Calum spoke, sitting in Ashton's bed. Michael leaned back on mine and I rolled my eyes. Ashton was scrolling through his phone, before widening his eyes.

"They're asking everyone to pay two dollars at the door guys."

Michael groaned, his head falling back as he closed his eyes.

"I don't even have two dollars."

"We know Michael." Calum said, looking around the room. He was probably admiring how clean it was compared to his and Michael's.

"Why do we have to pay two dollars exactly?" I asked. Two was weird. I could see five dollars or even one, but two was weird.

"Well I mean it's reasonable and cheap. Plus the hosts of the party probably need reimbursed for all the alcohol they bought." Ashton explained, making my eyes widen.

"Alcohol?" I asked, biting my lip. I looked at each Calum, Ashton, and Michael as they nodded their heads slowly.

"This is college, bud," Michael patted my shoulder. "I mean what else would we do at a party?"

I shrugged as flashes of musical chairs and hide and seek went through my mind.

"I mean... yeah I don't know." I lied. All of them laughed but I think it was a laugh that was making fun of me. My cheeks turned red in embarrassment.

"You're about to lose your party virginity tonight, Luke!" Calum exclaimed, making me weakly smile.

I could just hear my mom's lecture again.

'Don't go to any parties, Luke. Mother knows best.'

Sorry this chapter took so long to publish guys! I've been really busy with work lol!

Anyways I hope you enjoyed, and now we're getting to the juicy parts of the story haha. I just wanted the first couple chapters to be simple and sort of filler chapters for what's about to come for the rest of the story.

Sooooo yeah! Love you guys!! See you next chapter!

(Sorry for any mistakes, this is not edited.)

You've reached the end of published parts.
