The Cave of Wonders

The three of them walked through the dessert and by the night came with a thunder clouds appearing, they have reached the Cave of Wonders. Sam and Mr Jenkins slowly walked to the cave. Then the cave response by glowing eyes startling them.

"Who disturb my slumber?" The cave asked. Sam shook his fears away and said, "It is I. Sam-I-Am." The Cave of Wonders looks at Sam cautiously. "Proceed. Touch nothing but the lamp." The Cave of Wonders warned. Snerz reminded, "Remember, Sammy. Bring me the lamp. And then, you'll have your reward." Sam mumbled under his breath, "I wish he stops calling me that." The thief said to the Chickeraffe, "Let's go, Mr Jenkins." The two of them enters inside the cave.

Sam and Mr Jenkins walked down the whole stairs until they reach the entrance. Inside the whole room is filled with so many golds, treasures, diamonds, rubies, everything.

Sam said, "Wow. Look at all of this. If we have all of this, we'd be richer than any kings in the world. But sadly, we can't touch them." Mr Jenkins whimpered. "Sorry big fella. The cave told us we can't touch the treasure. But not to worry. Mr Snerz will give us the greatest reward than we can ever dream on. But let's hope he's not planning to do something with me. And I hate to think about it." He shuddered in disgust.

As they walked further more through the treasure room avoiding not to touch anything, something flew over them. Mr Jenkins looked up above him thought that someone or something following them. But there was nothing there. Then, just a quick peek, Jenkins caught a look on a creature before squawking in fear.

Jenkins ran to Sam. Sam asked, "Whoa, Mr J, what's wrong? What's gone into you?" Mr Jenkins turned Sam around to make him see it. The creature flew down. It was big, has orange and dark white body, its wings' that looks like a dragon's wings colors has a sky blue, face is like a dragon, and its tail has a flame.

Sam said, "Hey, I think I remember you from the book. You're a Charizard. The flying-fire type Pokèmon." Charizard cautiously walked to Sam and sniffed. Sam said, "It's okay, big guy. We won't harm you." Mr Jenkins also sniffed Charizard carefully. "See, Mr Jenkins? It won't bite. Say, Charizard, since you're here, think you can help us?" Charizard nodded and growled softly. He said, "Great. You see, Jenkins and I were looking for a lamp. Do you know where that is?" Charizard flipped its wings and flew expecting Sam and Mr Jenkins to follow. "Come on, Mr Jenkins, I think it knows where the lamp is." Sam said before he and Jenkins followed the Pokèmon.

The three of them went further and further down in the cave. Later, they entered the chamber and up there to the top of the tower is where the lamp is at. "I'll go and get it. Both of you, wait here." Sam said before started hopping on the stones to get to the tower.

Mr Jenkins noticed something shiny at the corner of his eyes. It's a giant ruby sitting on a monkey statue. Jenkins knew that the cave said that they shouldn't touch any treasures here. He looked away hoping that he won't get distracted.

Sam made it to the tower and started walking up the stairs. He reached to the top and takes the lamp. Sam asked, "This is it? We came all this way to get this?" Downstairs, Mr Jenkins was struggling not to touch the ruby as he keeps looking at it. Then too strong to resist, he ran to the ruby. Sam tucked the lamp inside his hat and looked down to see the Chickeraffe running to the ruby. "No! Mr Jenkins! Don't touch it!" Sam yelled. But it was too late. Mr Jenkins grabbed the ruby with his beak.

"lnfidels!" The cave roared. Mr Jenkins squawks in fear. "You have touched the forbidden treasure!" He puts the ruby back. But it and the statue suddenly started to melt into a lava. "Now you will never again see the light of day!"

As the whole cave are shaking, the water has turned into a lava. Sam ran down the stairs. But the whole stairs has turned into a slide making Sam sliding down to the lava. Just the nick of time, Charizard caught Sam. Sam said before climbed on its back, "Thanks Charizard." Charizard grunted response and flew up away from the lava. Sam see Jenkins in trouble. He said, "Mr Jenkins! Charizard, we have to save him!" Charizard flew down and grabbed Jenkins before the rock underneath his feet burst.

When Jenkins climbed on Charizard's back, both he and Sam saw a giant wave of lava chasing them. Sam yelled, "Ahh! Charizard, let's move!" The three of them flew through the tunnel to get away from the lava as fast as they can. They made it back to the treasure room which it's now destroyed.

Outside of the Cave of Wonders, it began to roar in pain as Snerz walked towards the entrance. Just this close that Sam, Mr Jenkins, and Charizard to the entrance, a big boulder dropped down on Charizard's tail launching both Jenkins and Sam off. Mr Jenkins were out, but Sam was holding on the ledge for dear life.

Sam sees Snerz standing over him. Sam cried, "Mr Snerz! Help me!" Snerz said, "Give me the lamp." He said, "I can't even hold on! Give me your hand!" Snerz repeated, "First give me the lamp!" Sam pulled out the lamp from under his hat and gave it to Snerz.

Evil advisor snatched the lamp before evil laughed and cheered, "Yes! At last! It's mine!" He tucked the lamp in his pocket. He tossed Mr Jenkins who was helping Sam away. Sam asked when Snerz grabbed his wrist, "What are you doing?"

Snerz said, "I'll give you a choice. You want your reward? Here it is. Agree to be my servant and my secret lover." Sam asked in shocked, "What?!" He said, "Join me and together, we'll rule the entire kingdom." Thief refused, "Never!" "Fine. If I can't have you, then neither will the youngest prince." Snerz said pulling out a knife. Sam screamed.

Mr Jenkins squawks angrily and bit Snerz's arm. Snerz screamed in pain making him to let Sam fall to his death. Snerz threw Mr Jenkins down with Sam. Charizard who is okay standing on a rock floor which is safe saw Sam and Mr Jenkins in trouble before pulled its tail out of the boulder. It flew up and caught Sam and Jenkins.

The Cave of Wonders collapsed sealing the entrance and trapping Sam, Mr Jenkins, and Charizard inside. Snerz who managed to get away from the cave said, "No matter. I still got the lamp. And it's all mine." He puts his hand in his pocket to grab the lamp, but feels nothing. Snerz looked around to find the lamp only he finds nothing. "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Snerz screamed in anger.
