"Riya are you fucking kidding me?" Alishka shouted as she barged into the bathroom. Riya looked up, a little scared, from the sink where she was washing her face.
"Uh-"
"Why the fucking hell did you not say anything?" Alishka stormed once again.
"I'm sorry alright? I just didn't want to create any drama. You know I just want peace," Riya replied in a low voice.
"Peace that those girls won't let you have. Really Ri, if you keep letting these kind of things go, they just feel more encouraged to bully you," Alishka said.
Diya had dropped a bucket of ice-cold water on Riya, and Alishka was now really angry that Riya just let it go and didn't act on it.
"If you don't confront her next time, I'm gonna assume you're a fuc-" before Alishka could complaint, Riya gasped loudly. She hated swear words. Alishka rolled her eyes.
"Oh okay, that you're a fudging ass. Alright? But no, I really mean that. Next time anything happens, I'm straight gonna go to the Principal," Alishka said.
"Fine fine," Riya said, she just hated trouble.
"Good," Alishka replied, dusting her hands on her skirt, even though it wasn't anything near dirty.

Diya quietly sat back down in class, and noted down whatever the teacher had written till now. She had been late but she was able to sneak into the class without the teacher having to give her a lecture.
After about half an hour later, the class ended and everyone left the class. Diya swung the black leather bag on her shoulders and made to get out of the class when the teacher called out to her.
"Diya, please stay back. You too Nishant," Mrs. Rai said, closing her resigster.
"Diya, don't think I didn't see you sneak into class. Why were you late again?" Mrs. Rai started.
"I'm pretty sure she'd been bullying someone," Nishant muttered under his breath, so that no one could here.
"I'm so sorry Mrs. Rai. A freshman started bothering me with the directions of the halls and it took me a long time," Diya lied smoothly.
"You need to take your studies seriously. You missed two tests this week, and your grades from the last examinations were worse than ever. I'm afraid, if you keep it this way, you might no longer be part of this prestigious college," Mrs. Rai said.
Diya opened her mouth to oppose but Mrs. Rai beat her to it.
"No, your father being the trustee of this college isn't going to do anything about this. If you aren't paying attention, the college can't do it, and your father knows that."
Diya stomped her foot on the ground angrily but Mrs. Rai ignored it.
"You must be thinking what this has to do with you, right?" She turned to Nishant and he nodded.
"Well, we talked about this matter to Diya’s father and he said that he was sure she wouldn't take her studies seriously. Moreover, he used to be busy with his business trips most of the days, and her mother has to organize big events so both are busy almost everyday," Diya's heart gave a tug as Mrs. Rai said this.
"So anyways, he said that he would love to have a study partner for Diya that could help her with her weakest subject, Maths. And since you're the best student of this school, I mean, you literally scored 100/100 in Maths in Class 10th, I was wondering whether you would like to help her?"
Diya stared at Mrs. Rai with her mouth open. Was she fucking crazy? There was no way in hell that Diya was studying with the most boring student in class!
"Uh, I mean . . ."
"I know it's a lot to ask Nishant, but I thought you would like to help a friend?"
Nishant was battling to himself in his mind. On one hand, he had to handle the worst girl in the entire campus, and on the other hand, if he rejected this offer, the teacher might somehow not like him just as much and would stop thinking he was friendly.
"Fine," Nishant gave up.
"That's great! You and Diya could talk the rest by yourself," Mrs. Rai stood up, staked her books and walked out of the class.
"Why'd you agree?" Diya asked.
"Trust me, it's got nothing to do with you. I would just like to stay away from you as much as I can at the moment. But it's a private reason, so I ain't gonna share it with you," Nishant faked a smile.
"Whatever, as if I care. Anyways, my house, 7 p.m.?" She asked and Nishant nodded.
After that, she took out a bubble gum from her pocket and put it in her mouth. Blowing it, she walked out, making Nishant roll his eyes.
