As we all sat down on the bus, Yuki sat down next to me. She stood up to do a headcount of the team, once she was done she told Coach Irihata that we were all set. Next was the long drive to Tokyo. Most of us were pretty quiet with the exception of us all playing on our PSP's together.

Mad Dog occasionally shouted at us for being too loud then Iwa shouted back at him. Overall it was pretty chaotic. After about four hours, most of us were asleep. Yuki leaned on my shoulder as she slept.

I found myself staring at her, her hair covered most of her face, but I could still see her eyes. She was so peaceful. These past few days she really has changed, she's been less violent and she's been way more calm. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the bus window. I quickly fell asleep.

"Hey lovebirds, get up."

I opened my eyes slowly and saw Iwa and Matsukawa standing in the walkway of the bus. Matsukawa was taking pictures. I sighed.

"Are we here?"

Matsuwaka nodded. "Surprisingly Yukimura hasn't woken up yet."

I flicked her arm, that shot her awake.

"Oi! You little bi- oh hey guys."

Matsuwaka and I snickered.

Iwa said, "Come on the team is waiting on us."

She nodded and got up. We grabbed our bags and walked inside the school we were staying at. At the entrance we were greeted by all the other teams waiting. Nekoma's Coach smiled at us.

"Ah Seijoh has arrived!"

Coach Irihata smiled back. "Sorry we ran into some traffic on the way."

He chuckled. "It's fine, you all can get settled in your rooms. After that we can all get warmed up and begin practice matches."

We all walked towards our rooms. The coaches went off to go talk. Yuki yawned as we walked. I chuckled.

"You're still tired Yuki-chan?"

She sighed. "I didn't drink any coffee today... I don't know about you Shittykawa, but that's what I run on."

Matsuwaka chuckled. "Well you'd better get used to no coffee since you'll have to wake up early Yukimura."

She smiled. "Oh thanks you reminded me!"

She pulled out a small carton of coffee from her bag. All of us chuckled at her. She said,

"What? I figured there'd be no coffee so I packed a crap ton."

Iwa sighed. "You really need a better sleep schedule Yuki."

"Eh I'll be fine. I'm gonna go to the managers room. See ya guys!"

I waved to Yuki as she walked away. "See ya later Yuki-chan~"

She rolled her eyes and smiled at me as she walked away. Matsuwaka said,

"Wow I'm surprised she hasn't hit you yet."

I chuckled. "Yeah, same."

We all unrolled the futons and chose where we'd be sleeping. After we settled in, we went to the gymnasium to warm up for our practice matches. I saw Yuki and the other managers walking in, as she did Fukurōdani's captain shouted,

"Hey, hey, hey! Yukimura!"

'They know each other?'

She chuckled. "Hey Bokuto. Hey Akaashi."

The vice-captain said, "Hey Yukimura."

The three talked for a few moments before she walked back over to us. I said,

"You know the captain and vice-captain from Fukurōdani?"

She nodded. "We met when I first came to Japan. At first my parents planned for me to attend Fukurōdani, but then changed their minds. I ran into Bokuto and Akaashi when I was given a tour around the school. I almost became their manager."

I hugged her. "Wha? You mean you could've not been our manager?!"

A vein popped out of her forehead as she punched me in the chest. "Let go of me Shittykawa. Get to practice!"

I chuckled and said, "Alright, alright."

I walked over to the rest of the team as we stretched and warmed up. We started with a practice match against Karasuno, after our last match with them they were pretty shaken. 

Kageyama even asked me for help, I knew they were most likely coming up with a new freak attack with the orange-haired shortie. We also had to worry about Mr. Pleasant, #2. He was able to calm the whole team down, and he has experience as a setter. #10 also is pretty unpredictable.

We won the first set pretty easily. As a penalty they had to do flying laps around the gym, Yuki handed us water bottles and towels. I stared at her brace for a moment then said,

"How's your wrist?"

She smiled. "It's fine now, I just need to get used to spiking the ball down with my left."

I patted her head and said, "Well let me know if you need help with anything."

She replied, "I'm fine Shittykawa, you should get ready for your next practice set."

I smiled at her as we prepared for our next set with Nekoma. It ended with us beating them. The captain of Nekoma, is basically known as a vetran of blocking which made it a little annoying. I noticed Yuki was talking to Karasuno's managers, the blonde one seemed nervous.

I saw Yuki laughing a lot, it made my heart warm. Matsuwaka said,

"Staring at your crush hm?"

My face lightly burned. "Shut it."

He chuckled. "Ooh you're not denying it~"

Hanamaki joined in teasing me. "Ooh Oikawa-san's got a crush on Yukimura~"

Mastuwaka added, "His fangirls are gonna be jealous~"

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up. If I don't beat your asses, Yuki-chan will."

They both chuckled. We practiced for the rest of the time we had, surprisingly Yuki didn't pay a lot of attention to us, she mainly was talking with the other mangers.

I guess it's one of the first times she been able to mingle with other managers from different schools. All the mangers left to go get our dinner ready, we continued to practice. After a while one of Fukurōdani's managers came back and shouted,

"Hey you guys! Dinner's ready!"

We all quickly stopped what we were doing and left for the cafeteria. Yuki and the rest of the managers were sitting at their own table, all of us sat with our teams basically with the exception of Nekoma sitting with Fukurōdani. Yuki made her way over to us and sat down next to me.

She smiled. "You guys did good today."

Kindaichi smiled and said, "Thanks Yukimura."

She patted his head. "Although if you guys lose a set I'm gonna make you do extra laps after practice."

We all groaned as she laughed. "Just making sure you guys have motivation to not lose."

She sighed and paused for a moment before saying,

"We have a set against Shiratorizawa tomorrow."

authors note: hey guysss my writers block went away for this chapter :))) I'm proud of myself for being productive today. btw this fanfic does not follow the anime/manga timeline or plot that much so i will be altering it some more :).

I'm also gonna add a beach day chapter later on heh. I hope you guys have an amazing day/night/afternoon!
