chapter twenty-eight ; yua yukimura's pov

I GROANED AS I FELT SOMEONE SHAKING ME AWAKE, I forced my eyes open and I saw Tōru smiling at me.

"Wakey wakey Yuyu!"

I sighed. "What time is it?"

He replied, "11:00 am."

I rubbed my eyes, as I opened them I felt Tōru's soft lips on mine.

My face burned as we separated. "D-don't do that Tōru!"

He pouted. "Aww why? You don't like it?"

I mumbled, "It's not that..."

"Huh? Whatcha say?"

"Nothing! I'm going to get ready!"

Before he could reply, I rushed into the bathroom. Before I ran into the bathroom, I grabbed my clothes and threw them on the bathroom sink countertop. I shut the door as I looked at myself in the mirror. My face was still burning. I shook my head as I splashed some cold water on my face to wake myself up.

I mumbled, "Damn Tōru..."

I quickly got ready, I washed up and changed into a white cropped tank top with light blue wide leg jeans. I threw a cropped t-shirt cardigan over my tank top. I tied my hair up in a ponytail using a hair tie that had ribbons flowing out of it. As I walked out of the bathroom I saw Tōru wearing a white hoodie with light blue ripped jeans. We both laughed.

I said, "I swear, we also somehow match."

He smiled. "Maybe it's because we both have good taste."

I replied, "I don't know about you, but I have amazing taste Mr. Plaid Shorts."

He stuck his tongue out at me. "Shush Yuyu."

I laughed at his childish attitude. I grabbed my purse and called Kuroo.

"Hey Yukimura, where are you guys?"

I replied, "Oh we're leaving the hotel right now, where should we meet?" 

"THE ARCADE! HEY, HEY, HEY!"

"Oi! Owl hair, keep it down, will ya?!"

I snickered. "Okay, we're on our way. See ya there rooster head."

"See ya." 

I hung up on the two animal haired captains. Tōru flashed me a smile as he held my hand and we made our way over to the arcade. 

"Wow, no coffee again Yuyu?"

I smiled at him. "Yeah, yeah I'ma get some later."

He smiled at me again. The arcade was only a few minutes away from the hotel, so it was a quick walk. We quickly arrived at the arcade, in front I could hear the two captains since they were especially loud when they were together. 

"Hey, hey, hey! Yukimura!"

"Oh hey Yukimura, Oikawa."

Kuroo and Tōru hugged while Bokuto and I did, then we swapped. 

I asked, "So, how was graduation?"

Kuroo replied, "It was good, I got valedictorian." 

My jaw dropped. "Smart ass..."

He sighed. "It's really not that difficult."

Bokuto and I said, "Shut it you smartass!"

Tōru snickered at Bokuto and I's reaction. 

Tōru said, "Should we head in or are you two gonna keep complaining?"

Kuroo agreed. "Not very polite you two, I can't believe you've both graduated."

He stuck his tongue out at us both. 

I said, "Oh yeah, because taunting us is SOOO mature Kuroo."

Bokuto did it back. I sighed as I walked up to Tōru, holding his hand. We all walked up to the counter to get our arcade cards. First things first, I ran over to the claw machine since I saw a cute stuffed animal that I really loved. On the first try, I failed. Second yielded the same result. I pouted. I could hear Tōru laughing at me.

"Aww is Yuyu struggling with the claw machine?"

I turned to him. "Shut it Toto! Not like you could even get it."

He chuckled as he walked up to the machine. "Which one you want?"

I pointed at the small whale plushie. He swiped his card and started moving the claw. He picked up the whale and was able to bring it down into the hole. My jaw dropped as he proudly smiled. 

"See Yuyu?"

I smiled as he handed the plush to me. "Yay! Thanks Toto!"

His face lightly burned as I hugged him. "N-no problem. I-it wasn't that hard..."

I chuckled. "Come on Toto! We should try to play all the games before we have to leave!"

He smiled as I took his hand and dragged him off to any two player game I could find.

'Today's gonna be great.'
