I GROANED as I laid down on my bed. "Why, why, why, why, why, why, WHY?!"
Tears began forming in the corners of my eyes as I remembered the encounter with James.
"Y-yua?"
I immediately recognized the familiar boy. "J-james..."
Tōru said, "I'm sorry, but you are?"
I knew Tōru knew who he was, but just decided to play dumb in front of him. "J-James Cho."
Tōru said, "Your Japanese is pretty good for a foreigner. Why are you here?"
"I came to see Yua, I just knew she was in this town... I'm sorry but who are you?"
"Tōru Oikawa, Yuyu's boyfriend."
James looked shocked. "Boyfriend?"
I could see a flicker of anger in his eyes. "You ghost me in China and come here to get a boyfriend. I see how it is Yua."
His words echoed through my mind, the hatred in his voice. "I see how it is Yua." To be honest his words shouldn't have effected me as much as they did, but it hurt, hearing the hatred in his voice, the obvious anger in his eyes. 'Why does it hurt so much? Why does he care SO goddamn much?' A voice in the back of my head said, "He loves you." 'Shut up.' I felt so weak, crying. It felt different from the other times I've cried recently. Both in Tōru's arms. Those times, I felt safe. Like I didn't have to hide my emotions, now it just feels horrible. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. All of a sudden I could hear Tōru's voice.
"I love you Yua Yukimura."
I couldn't help but smile, hearing his words repeat in my head. Hearing his voice helped me calm down. I closed my eyes as I finally was able to stop shaking. After I calmed down a little more, I got ready for bed. 'Tomorrow we graduate...' I couldn't believe it, I didn't even have a clue about where I should go to college. Once I finished getting ready for bed, let's just say I briefed Yurei since she called to know about Tōru and I's date. She freaked when I told her about James.
"WHATA SIMP! JESUS HE REALLY TRAVELLED ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA AND LEARNED JAPANESE JUST TO FUCKIN FIND YOU?"
I sighed. "Pretty much."
I could hear the anger boiling inside of her. "Calm down Yurei, it's fine. I'm gonna go to sleep. I'll see you at graduation."
She sighed. "See ya Yua, remember I'm here to talk if you need to."
I smiled. "Thanks Yurei. See ya, also the same for you."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I sighed as I laid down and pulled my blanket over my body.
Before I fell asleep I whispered, "I love you Toto... please don't leave me."
The next morning was a little hectic, Bokuto called me, talking about going out with Oikawa and I for a small celebration for graduating and since I woke up a little late I had to get ready as he called me. I quickly changed into a simple white dress, did some light eyeliner and lip tint, then tied my hair up into a ponytail. As I finished getting ready, I heard someone ring the doorbell. I sighed.
"Gimme a sec Bokuto, someone rang the doorbell."
"Alright!"
I walked over to the door, as I opened it my eyes widened. I saw Tōru in a white dress shirt and black pants. My face lightly burned. He had the same reaction.
"U-uh hey Yua..."
I chuckled at his stuttering. "Hey Toto."
Bokuto's voice shouted through the phone. "HEY HEY HEY GUYS!"
Both Tōru and I broke out of our flustered states and laughed. I put the phone near my ear as Tōru walked inside the house.
"Hey Bokuto, I'll call you back, alright?"
"Okay! See ya!"
I hung up on the owl-haired captain.
Tōru chuckled. "We're matching again."
I smiled. "Yeah, you look..."
He smiled, anticipating a sweet thing.
"Decent."
His jaw dropped. "Why are you so mean Yuyu-chan?!"
I chuckled as he clung to my waist like a baby. "I'm joking Toto, well not really. If you wore plaid pants I'd break up with you right then and there."
He pouted while I laughed. "You ready to go you crybaby?"
He pouted again as he held my hand and we walked out the door, this time I made sure I had my keys. "I swear you're such a tsundere Yuyu..."
I rolled my eyes. "Really Toto, well would a tsundere do this?"
I turned to him and pecked his lips. I found it funny how flustered he was getting.
As we both turned back to walking, Tōru said, "Yuyu..."
"Hm?"
"You've got some good character development."
"PFFT-"
