"YOU DIDN'T TELL US ABOUT WHAT?!"

I held my phone at arms length away from my ears as mom shouted, I had just called to let them know about Tōru and I. Dad took it well, but mom... well not so much.

I sweat dropped and placed the phone at my ear, "Heh... well I'm dating someone."

"Who are they??"

"He's the volleyball captain of the team that I've been managing. His name is Tōru Oikawa."

"Is he rich?"

I groaned. "Mom!! Does that really matter?!"

Dad's voice chimed in, "We're really happy for you honey! But I'm surprised that you haven't told us about this boy before."

I nervously chuckled. "Yeah, well I was busy with school, focusing ya knowwwww."

Dad sighed. "Your mother and I will talk more,"

I heard the mic move as he whispered, "don't worry honey I approve as long as you're happy!"

I smiled and said, "Thanks dad."

I hung up and walked back to practice.

As I entered Kiyoko said, "Hey Yua, how'd telling your parents go?"

I groaned. "My mom asked if he was rich and my dad was fine with it. He's gonna calm her down and reason with her. Thank god I don't have to tell them in person..."

She laughed at my complaining. I began to work on my manager duties, today I was able to completely watch the boys practice. I could see all the teams slowly improving, Karasuno had practically perfected their new quick and synchronized attack. But today we had a practice set against Ubugawa High, Eri's team. We were able to beat them after a rather lengthy set.

As I handed the boys their water bottles and towels I gave them a pep talk, "Hey good job guys, you've been winning pretty often."

I paused for a moment as I saw Tōru about to talk. I placed my finger over his lips and sighed.

"I swear to the volleyball gods Tōru if one more egotistical word comes out of your mouth I will get my tennis racket and send you flying to the moon."

The entire Seijoh team snickered. He lightly moved my arm away from him and said,

"I was just gonna say it was because of our teamwork... and my-"

Iwa cut him off and said, "Do you really want your girlfriend to send you to the moon by hitting your nonexistent ass?"

We all snickered again. I sighed.

"Alright! Enough talk get back to practice!"

Tōru stayed behind and said, "How'd your parents take it?"

I sweat dropped remembering my conversation with them earlier. "U-um get to practice!"

I pushed him by back. Which was a mistake...

"Ew! Your back is sweaty Tōru!"

He snickered as he went back to practice. I wiped my hands on a clean towel and refilled their water bottles. I hung out with the other girls until we had to go make dinner for the boys. While we managers were prepping and cooking, Hikota said,

"U-um Yua?"

I smiled at her as I continued to cut the ingredients. "Yeah Hikota? What's up?"

"What's it like... dating someone?"

I grinned. "Ooo do you have a crush on someone?"

Her face burned as she waved her hands around herself defensively. "W-WHAT?! N-NO! ME?! CRUSH?! NOO!"

All the girls snickered.

Yukie sang, "Sure Hikota~"

Hikota's face burned even brighter. "R-really! I don't!"

Kiyoko said, "Are they from our team Hikota? Or another?"

Hikota covered her face with her hands and softly mumbled, "Yamaguchi..."

We all froze and started teasing her about him. I had seen them interact a few times. Both of them being the definition of flustered and shy. 'They'd really make a cute couple... so would Samuwara and Sugawara... HOLD UP I FEEL LIKE MOST OF KARASUNO IS GAY/BI' I snickered at my thoughts. We all continued to tease Hikota as we made dinner. Once we finally finished, I went to go grab the boys from practice. Tōru patted my head as we walked out of the gym. Dinner was fun, everyone laughed a lot. I sat with the boys most of the time.

After we all showered, Tōru told me to meet him outside. As I walked outside, the moon lit up the whole sky. It looked beautiful. I turned my head and saw Tōru leaning against the wall with damp hair, staring at the sky. 'He looks so... perfect.'

"Hey Yua."

My face burned as Tōru turned his head to me.

I walked over to him and said, "Why'd you wanna see me?"

He said, "So, you gonna answer my question from earlier?"

"What question?"

He sighed, "How did your parents take it Yua?"

I sighed. "Well, my dad is happy for us, my mom... well she thinks that I should be more concerned about how financially stable you are..."

He smiled. "Aww well at least you don't have to deal with them face to face...?"

I could tell he was doubting himself. I patted his head.

"It'll be fine, my dad can talk to her."

He pulled me in for a hug, my head against his chest as he had one arm wrapped around my torso and his other hand, playing with my hair. I wrapped my arms around his body. We stayed like that for a while, it felt nice. I relaxed in his arms. I practically forgot being worried about how mom would deal with the fact Tōru and I are dating.

He whispered, "I love you Yua, and I won't stop no matter what."

"You promise?"

He moved so my head was tilted, staring up at him.

"I promise."

He leaned in for a kiss, but before our lips touched I whispered, "I love you."

He smiled as our lips touched. It felt perfect. Like I've been living a fairytale.

'I love you Tōru Oikawa and nothing will change that. I promise.'
