Chapter 31
Third Person p.o.v
The house was calm and quiet. No one sensed the thick tension that roamed the atmosphere. No one seemed to notice the gut feeling that something was wrong. That only miles away, their beloved daughter and sister was on the verge of her death. The feeling was there, it simply went unnoticed.
That is, until a very curious little girl came along. As little Grace came skipping down the hall, doing what little four year olds do, she stopped. She stopped right outside her older sisters room. Staring at the door curiously, she felt something was off. That something wasn’t right.
Pushing the door open curiously, her eyes scanned the room. Trying to find any sign of her dear sister. Only to find she wasn’t there.
Gasping slightly, her eyes darted over to the opened window. Blowing in an arctic breeze. As her eyes squinted together, she noticed something. A note.
Plucking the note off the icy cold window seal, she took off running. Running down the hall as fast as her little legs would take her.
“Mommy, Daddy! Evelyn is gone!” The girl shrieked, throwing herself into her parents awaiting arms.
“Baby, what do you mean Evelyn’s gone? She’s upstairs in her room isn’t she?” Her father questioned, shooting the girl a very confused look.
“No! I was just up there! Evelyn’s not there Daddy! And her window was open! She also left this note,” the little girl continued to shriek. Handing her now worried parents the note she had found.
Hello Louis/ Evelyn, whoever this note may concern.
Seeing as you’ve discovered my note, you’ve most likely discovered the absents of your daughter. I would love to inform you that your daughter is safe and sound, but that would be a lie. She’s anything but safe.
Don’t bother trying to save her because it would all just be one big waste of time. However, if you attempt to come to your daughter’s rescue, I’ll kill her on the spot. Don’t think I won’t notice your failed attempts. I have spy’s all around.
Remember one thing, your daughters life lies in your hands. Don’t do something you're sure to regret. Until further notice.

Sitting the note down, Louis gasped in horror. His daughter, his precious little girl, was in the hands of some monster. With nothing to do but sit back, and just hope and pray for his daughters well being, he felt useless.
Unlike what happened with Jealyn, he couldn’t come to Evelyn’s rescue. Not without paying severe consequences. He felt hopeless. Absolutely and utterly hopeless.
As the two worried sick parents bickered back in forward about what they were to do, Tommy stood in the corner. Watching it all unfold. To whoever thought Tommy was just going to sit back, and just wait for his sister to slowly die off, was wrong. He wasn’t going to back down. Not without putting up a fight that is. Of course, he couldn’t do it alone. He needed help. And he knew just where to get it.
Running up the stairs, he was quick to grab all the items and information he would need. In a matter of minutes, he was ready. Quickly and quietly sneaking out the back door.
With one last look at the house before him, he took of in the direction he was headed. Not sure whether he was to ever come back alive. But that was a sacrifice he was willing to take.
After what felt like hours of running, he had finally reached his destination. The answer to all his questions, and the key to rescuing his beloved sister.
With a shaky breath, he slowly walked up the driveway. Beginning to second guessing his decision to come here. But knowing in his, mind he had no other choice in the matter. Not if he wanted to save his sister.
Slowly but surely, he edged himself closer and closer to the door. Slowly making his way up the front porch steps. Hesitantly, he raised his hand towards the door. Giving an unsteady knock.
The house was silent for awhile. Tommy was slowly losing hope of the person he was looking for being home. As relief began to wash over him, he began to turn away. Until finally, the door swung open. Only spiking Tommy’s nerves up higher than they already were.
Turning around, Tommy turned to face to figure in the doorway. The figure was dressed in black. He had a belt at his waist, different gears and weapons hanging securely from their holder.
If Tommy hadn’t known any better, he would have thought the boy was an agent of some kind. But Tommy knew better than that. He knew exactly what the boy was, and that was one of the many reasons he was here.
“Lucas Maclin, I’m in a desperate need for your help.”
