We meet in the cave nearly every day. Every time I see him and his gorgeous smile, I am closer to telling him how I really feel, and I hope he feels the same way too. I fly down the road just as the golden sun is rising and go to Mercury's house. His house is a small stone house just on the outskirts of the main silver-wing village. I step through the pebble pathway into his front door, creak the door open and sneak into his room.

"Hello?" I say with anticipation; before I know it, he is looking at me smiling.

"For some reason, I knew you were coming today." He has a glow written in his eyes as if he is thinking about something exciting.

"So, want to go to the –"

"Yes, see you there." He cuts me short and puts a talon on my snout.

"Great," Laughing, I walk out of his house. I flick my wings with excitement and launch into the air.

A pat of rain taps me on the head, so I stop to see if a storm is rolling in. Oh, yep there is a storm alright. Flying as fast as I possibly could to get out of the weather. The rain makes it hardly visible to see what's in front of me and it dampens my wings making it a struggle to fly. Rain is starting to pour, lightning flashes violently, my wings beat harder. I get to the edge of the palace and fly to the window of my bedroom, quickly shut the skirted windows and lock them for extra protection and watch the storm roll in. The windows shutter, and they roof bleats, I cannot even hear my own voice in the storm. Hail starts to crackle as shoots from the sky; soon enough massive piles of hail have racked up outside. I decide to stop focusing on the storm and have a quick snooze while I hope for it to go away, just as I roll up ready to sleep, I see a glint of silver from outside. Peeking out the window I see that a smaller silver-wing quivering; I race down to the hallway entrance; the doors are made out of huge silver blocks that have been carved and decorated with all sorts of patterns. I try to move the door; despite my best efforts it won't budge. Thinking, thinking, key! I need a key; where would Aunt Silver would keep a key? Bingo.

I arrive in Aunt Silver's jewelry room, it is as big as Mercury's house and maybe more, I go to closet that isn't filled with necklaces and pretty jewels, I find about 30 keys altogether. I race back into the main entrance and hope the silver-wing outside is okay. The keys unwrap from around my wrist, I test the first one, junk, second, nothing, third, nothing but on the tenth key the door clicks open. I quickly seize the door handle.

"T-t-thank-k you-o-ou." The dragon furiously shivers, take their wet helmet off and to my surprise,

"Spark! Are you okay?" I wrap my wings around her and lead her to my room. After I tuck a big blanket around her, I check to see if she has any cuts or bruises.

"Spark, you have a nasty gash here what happened? It couldn't have been hail surely?" I ask in worry. A long open gash on her left hind leg carried through her silver embodied scales. I go over to find medical kit in one of the kitchens draws I come back to my room and melt the silver. Oh yes, did I mention that silver-wings can melt any sort of metal? We also have the ability to hold our breath underwater for up to 40 minutes; hence why Mercury and I like swimming so much. I put a layer of liquid silver I on Sparks leg,

"Ohhh, that feels good, brrrrrr" she shivers. I prepare her a hot cocoa. "Thank you so much." Looking at her, I can still see the icy breeze whip in her eyes.

"What happened? How did you get stuck?" I motion towards my bed so we can sit.

"Well I was on a quick mission for Silver and had to check the disappearances of all some famers cows. Silver assumed it was some gold-wing farmers but just as I was about to check, it started raining. I was far out of town; my house was flooded, and the roof had buckled. So, the only place I could go was the kingdom and wait. Oh yes, the gash on my leg came from a piece of metal off my roof. It flew and slashed me right across the leg." She smiled at me despite the obvious pain in her expression.
