The End of the world

UFO Sighting

The next day my head was banging with pain, I should not have had so many drinks once again I got carried away in my company and had too much to drink! I quickly had my shower and after a quick breakfast I headed to the University where I had a meeting with Mr. Collins, he wanted to discuss something important. I was scared and excited at the same time. "Maybe it had something to do with our presentation, did our work get approved, did it get rejected, Oh My God, too many things were running in my mind, I tried to relax, maybe it was just something else he wanted to talk to me about, I tried explaining to myself". 

As I was parking my car I looked at the other side and saw Miss Peyton parking her car, she looked lovely today, not that she looked bad on other days but today she looked different, she looked happy and extra gorgeous. "I've had the biggest crush on Miss Peyton ever since I saw her but the shy me haven't had the chance to tell her about my feelings or ask her out". I was still looking at her with wide eyes when she suddenly waved at me from her car, I was brought back from my trance and I waved back at her. I got out of my car and she and I started walking towards the classes. I tried talking to her but I don't know what happens to me when I'm around her, I just couldn't utter a word. She broke the awkward silence and showed me the ring on her hand, "my boyfriend just proposed to me last night, I can't believe this is happening, I'm just so happy she exclaimed", no wonder she seemed so happy and extra beautiful today I thought to myself. No matter how heartbroken I was to hear the news I put on my acting shoes and congratutaled her, she hugged me and I never felt happier in my life, I wish I could stop time here and never let her go, alas, I had to, I saw her enter her class and felt as if the world ended for me.

With my recently broken heart and the intense pain in my ch est I headed towards the meeting room where I was supposed to meet Mr. Collins. "Hello, Mr. Collins, good to see you, please give me some good news I'm dying to hear something positive this morning", I said and sat down next to him. 

"Well I have some good news and some bad news for you Peter", Mr collins said, "pleae start with the good news, I've had my share of receiving bad news this morning, I would like to hear something positive now".  "Well the jury was really impressed with your work, they were all praise for your hardwork and dedication toward this project, but... I don't know how to say this, its hearbreaking for me too but at this time we can not give you an approval to start working on this project, we are in short of funds plus there are still a lot of loopholes that need to be worked up on, so this project can't be approved at this stage, I will try talking to the counsel once again but I can't promise anything!" Hearing this the intense pain in my heart increased ten folds, I was about to collapse but Mr. Collins held me in time. "Enough of bad news in one day.  I thought to myself, I had to somehow convince Mr. Collins to get an approval for this project, I had been working on this for as long as I can think, I sidelined my friendships, my relationships and I even lost the love of my life who is now getting married to someone else, I had to do something". 

After giving the bad news to my two friends who were as much a part of the project as me, I headed to my favourite place, the place that brings me peace and happiness, it was on a hill top from wher I can see the whole city, being at this place alone and away from the hustle-bustle of the city clears my mind. I was sitting on the hood of my car when I saw two lights flickering around a flying object at a distance. I immediately took out my phone to capture this weird flying object. As soon as I tok out my phone the object was gone, vanished in thin air. I was scared as to what I just saw, and started packing my things to get away from this place. 

I reached back my house and switched on the television to catch up on the news. As soon as I switched on the TV I saw the same flying object all over the news, the only difference was that I saw one flying object but there were a lot many sightings of a similar flying object all over the city! I came to the conclusion that it was indeed a UFO, in the past month the UFO sightings had increased, I'm not sure but all this prompts towards the fact that something bad is about to happen not only in my city but all over the world.

I switched off the television, today had been an eventful day, too many things happened and I just hope I have a normal day tomorrrow when I wake up. 

With this thought I slept.
