The day had finally arrived, the school was pretty much empty as many had left the school compound to go on dates to the fanciest restaurants on either sides of the boarders.
I walked down the halls with books in my hand, heading to the library where we had planned to meet. Walking past the hallway that I committed murder, I smirked. A few days ago I had disposed of the body, still rather surprised that no one has found them yet. I teleported them out side, a distance away from the school, before engulfing them in flames and incinerating them into ashes. Seeing their bodies burn brought great joy to me, as I saw all the misery they caused me turn to ash and blown away by the wind. I felt happier...
Though their absents has not gone unnoticed, Alexa has told the principal and they've made reports in hopes of finding them...
But no avail, there were neither witnesses nor clues behind their disappearance, nothing...
To the angel authorities, they disappeared into thin air, no traces left behind...
I've made sure of it...
When disposing the brats' bodies, I've made sure that their was no blood stains left on the floor, no signs that a murder took place and no evidence that may point them in my direction or caused them to suspect me as a culprit. As for witnesses...they scared them away before anything happened...
Guess it wasn't too wise of them to intimidate people so much that they run from you...
No one was there to witness anything...
And no one dared to stay to watch...
Not even their own kind...the angels
I smiled at the thought that even their own beings are afraid of them, so afraid till there was no one that stuck around to witness their deaths. This made my job so much easier, usually I would have to slaughter the witnesses as well. But since there weren't any, I felt better harming them.
I stepped down the stairs and saw him...
Standing in front of the entrance to the library, already waiting for me. I ran towards him "Anthony!" I exclaimed before coming to a stop I front of him. "Sorry...to keep you waiting" I awkwardly smiled. "It's alright I didn't wait long, honestly I just got here" he chuckled, reassuring me "now come on let's not waste anymore time" he added as he opened the door, holding it open for me to enter...
A gentleman...
"Thank you" I giggled as I walked in "my pleasure m'lady" he said with a bow, we both broke out laughing before our faces flashed a deep red.
My heart was racing...
The murderous thoughts I had before was gone...
And nerves took its place...
The tension between us became thick, "should we start?" I said with my hands placed sheepishly in front of me and my books on the table beside me "yeah..." he replied scratching the back of his head, with a smile across his face. His smile was accompanied with the increasing red on his cheek. Clearly, as nervous as I was...
I don't know if it was the fact that he was out with one of angels most hated enemies...
One that can easily commit a murder with just a snap of her fingers...
One that has slaughtered so many of his kind...
Or
Is he nervous that we are hanging out together...
Is the feeling mutual...
We both sat down, opening our textbooks and began studying. He explained the concepts that I barely understood, and us discussing about the pile homework that the teachers decided to give us for the long weekend ahead.
