2 weeks later

Cheryl and Toni sat at the kitchen table, waiting for Breanna.

The teen walked into the kitchen, sitting down at the table.

"What's up?" She asked, looking at the papers that sat in front of Toni.

"Look for yourself." Cheryl smiled, pushing the papers in front of her.

Breanna raised her brow before looking over the paper.

"Wait..." She whispered, looking up at Cheryl who nodded her head.

"You adopted me?" Breanna smiled, looking at Toni.

"Yep, and Toni adopted Sophia and Alex." Cheryl chuckled.

"Oh my god!" The girl covered her mouth to stop the sob that was about to come out.

"Come here, baby." Cheryl said, getting up to comfort her daughter.

"It's okay." Cheryl whispered, hugging her.

Toni smiled, joining in. Breanna was super emotional because she felt that hole in her heart being filled by Cheryl.

Yes, her dad will ALWAYS be her dad but with him not being there, she didn't have anyone to fill that.

And now here she is, wrapped in the arms of her two mothers, whom she loves dearly.

When Cheryl and Toni told Alex and Sophia... you see for yourself.

"Alex! Sohp!" Cheryl called.

The 5-year-olds came running in, "Yes?" They both said.

"Have a sit, come on." Toni said, patting to her lap.

They sat on her lap, looking at Cheryl who picked up the adoption papers.

"Do you know what this is?" Cheryl asked, holding the paper up.

They shook their heads 'no.'

I mean, duh, they're five! "Okay, well, these are adoption papers." Toni whispered.

"Why?" Sophia asked, looking up at Toni.

"Because I adopted you." Toni smiled.

"What's that?" Alex asked.

"When someone adopts you, they take you as there own. So Toni is officially your other mom." Cheryl explained.

"But aren't you our mommy?" Sophia asked.

"Yes. I'll always be your mommy, baby." Cheryl chuckled.

"Yay!" Alex smiled, turning around to give Toni a hug.

It was cute, they didn't really understand what was going on so Toni and Cheryl decided to explain it again when they are a little bit older.
