"Come on, Alex!" Toni called.

Toni was taking Alex and Sophia for frozen yogurt while her redheaded wife took Breanna out with her.

They were switching for a day.

"Baby, I promise I got it," Toni said that once Alex entered the room.

"I know, it's-"

"Babe, Trust me. I know my kids." Toni chuckled.

Cheryl shook her head playfully as Breanna entered the living room.

"Ready, Momma." The teen smirked, placing her phone in her pocket.

"You three say safe, understand?" Cheryl said.

"I got them, babe. Go." Toni said, gently pushing Cheryl out of the house.

-----

"Okay, What store?" Cheryl asked her teenage daughter as the walked around the mall.

"Can we go to the Adidas store? I want to get sweat pants." Breanna said.

"Sure. Come on, " Cheryl smiled as they walked toward the store.

Once they entered the store, Breanna instantly went for the sweats she wanted.

"Only one?" Cheryl asked as the girl picked up black ones.

Breanna giggled, going to pick out more since her mom was paying.

Cheryl didn't mind at all, She was actually excited to shop with Breanna. Whenever she shops with Alex and Sophia, She doesn't get much done.

Once Breanna returned to the redhead she had 4 sweat pants and some shirts.

"Want shoes?" Cheryl asked as they passed the shoes that were on the wall.

Breanna scanned the wall, looking for something she may like.

Breanna smiled when she spotted the Filas Leah was talking to her about last week at school.

"Those, " The tanned girl pointed.

"Okay, Hold on." Cheryl said as she went to get a worker.

As Breanna stood near the wall, a light-skinned boy stood beside her as he scanned the wall.

Breanna didn't pay much attention to him since she was focused on her mom coming back.

"Which do you prefer?" He asked the girl who had her back turned.

Breanna turned around. "I'm sorry, What?" Breanna asked.

He laughed softly before repeating himself. "Which do you prefer?"

Breanna scanned the wall again before looking at the boy. "I, Uh, I don't know. I'm getting Filas." Breanna replied.

He smiled, she's cute. He thought. "Well, Do you think Nike is good?" He then asked.

"Yeah. Nike is good." Breanna smiled with a firm nod, wondering what's taking Cheryl so long.

"I'm Caiden, By the way." The boy smiled.

"Breanna." The topaz girl smirked, shaking his hand with her free one.

"Beautiful name, for a beautiful girl." He smiled.

Breanna blushed, hoping Cheryl would hurry up before she embarrassed herself.

"I'm new around here. I'm starting high school tomorrow." He said, starting a conversation.

"Really? What year?" Breanna asked.

"Freshman." He nodded.

"That makes you 14." Breanna said.
