"Hi Riley" I said.
"Hi Aaron" she said
"What's wrong? I heard you crying."
"Jonathan and my brother's girlfriend."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
She lets me come into her room and we go sit on her bed. She tells me the story on how her brother's girlfriend was trying to do stuff with Jonathan. Then how Patrick Kane told her that Jonathan hate her brother's girlfriend's guts and how she hurt him. She starts to cry and I hug her. I have been through the same thing before. I have to tell someone my secret and maybe girl should know versus a guy. Also I have had the same experience with my boyfriend and my enemy.
"I know how you feel. I have had it happen to me before. " I said.
"How? You are a guy." Riley asked.
"Can I trust you with a secret?"
"Sure."
"You can't tell anyone, not even Jonathan or Quenneville."
"I promise."
I lean into her and whisper into her ear, "I'm actually a girl."
She looks at me and says, "For real?"
I nod my head yes and explain to her. I tell her she is the first one to know on the team the truth.
"Why haven't you anyone?" she ask.
"I'm scared that they are going to treat me different. Also no one believes me, I tell people I'm really a girl and the say I'm not." I say. "Also I run from the truth, I always think I'm a guy in a girl's body when I'm really just a girl."
She gives me a hug and I want to push her away but something told me not to.
"You should go talk to him because I don't think anyone in that locker room wants Captain Serious to be Captain Crying because he knew he hurt you even though it wasn't his fault this time. Also call your brother, tell him what that woman did to you. If you and your brother are close, he might dump her." I said.
"Okay, thanks Aaron." she said.
"No problem. If you want to talk to someone, I'm here for you. You just got keep a secret on what we say."
"I promise."
I get up tell her I'm going to bed and she lets me go. I can't believe I told her I'm a girl. I just am nervous now, is she going to tell anyone that I'm a girl?
