"Yeah but Demons aren't."
There was a momentary silence before Akiteru started to laugh.
"Oh Kei, you scared me for a second mentioning a Deomon but honestly, where's a demon going to pop out from?"
He laughed heartily down the phone and he looked around.
"Right here."
"Kageyama!"
"Aaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" Akiteru screamed down the phone as Kageyama placed a hand on his shoulder, horns and teeth fully out with rage.
"Now let him go or I will not only kill you, but your whole family excluding your little brother. If he dies, then after Yamaguchi, Hinata would be sad."
Bathump...
Hinata blushed a little as Kei sighed from the other side of the phone call.
"Wow he got there quick, he literally left two minutes ago jeez... He really is a monster. Anyway brother, do as he says."
Akiteru was shivering like crazy as he nodded down the phone and picked up a knife to cut the net.
"I see... Okay, I'm letting him go."
Kageyama watched his every move as Akiteru shakingly cut the net off Hinata's wings before running away into the forest as the angel jumped into the demon's arms.
"Hey it's okay." Kageyama smiled as he patted the ginger's fluffy hair, his own demonic form shrinking away.
"Thank you!"
Hinata didn't let go as he clung to the demon's warmth. Kageyama couldn't help but blush a little as he slowly wrapped his own arms around Hinata and hugged his back.
"I'll be here whenever you need me."
Bathump...
Hinata's heart pounded as he heard those words and his legs felt weak. His feelings were going out of control again and he really couldn't hold back anymore. Not with the fact that midnight was a mere minute away.
"Kageyama?"
"hmm?"
"I...I'm sorry..."
"Why?"
He unfolded the wings on his back that Akiteru had ties together just a moment ago as he felt the familiar itchy feeling.
He leaned backwards out of the hug and held onto Kageyama's hands as his body started to rise up and his wings fluttered open.
All ten of them...
"I'm sorry Kageyama, I..."
He started to cry as his body glowed and the clouds in the sky above them suddenly part and a circle of light poured down.
Hinata let go of Kageyama's hands as his body rose gently into the air.
"I LOVE YOU KAGEYAMA!!!!!"
The demon's eyes widen as he suddenly clenched his hands into fists.
Wait...
"I'M SO SORRY!!!!!"
"WAIT!!!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME AFTER SAYING THAT!!!"
He fully transformed back into his demonic self as he climbed into the trees and stood at the top before leaping after him. But the angel was already too high in the sky and he missed before falls back down and landed in the canopy below.
His face had tears streaming down and he could still feel Hinata's tears too as he watched the angel become engulfed in light.
"Goodbye!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
He slammed the tree and it broke under the force as Kageyama's painful cry rang across the forest, scaring all animals away as Hinata disappeared into the sky.
He... He just left.... Just like that... Gone...
"DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!"
Kageyama's scream could no longer be heard as Hinata wept his painful tears out.
He left so lost...
He had crossed the dimensional barrier that he passed on his way down at the beginning of his banishment and on the other side, two Seraphims awaited him.
"Shouyou..." the female one whispered as she looked like she was on the verge of tears. Her face... Looked like his...
"Who are you?"
Hinata's eyes widened as the other Seraphim, male, also looked like him.
"You've grown up my child..."
What?...
The tears he had cried out earlier swelled again as he looked at the figures in front of him, the female holding her arms out.
"M-Mum?..."
She nodded and Hinata pointed to the male.
"Th-then.... Dad?"
He also nodded and the tears spilled over and Hinata felt warmth spread through him as his larents embraced their son for the first time.
"Why was I always alone? Where were you guys?" His voice cracked as his parents slowly stood up and showed him down a golden path.
"It will all be explained my child, all your questions will be answered and I promise, it will all be okay."
They didn't say anything else as they escorted him into a castle ad entered a room the size of the world.
And at the middle, sat the ruler.
The ruler's body was completely surrounded in light so nothing about them could be seen and all the angels automatically bowed down.
The light then came down in golden strands before wrapping around Hinata's head.
"Are you ready to live your life devoted to me?"
"I..."
Hinata didn't know how to answer as his reflection appeared in the light and he saw himself.
"I will now answer you questions, you my child, are a Seraphim."
The light unwrapped itself from Hinata's head revealing a Seraphim's halo.
He was a Seraphim.... One of the most powerful beings alive. The biggest privilege and one of the highest positions.
"You have spent your whole life wondering where your parents were, and I will now answer that. It's because my child, all Angel's of the first triad must mature on their own and find their own way to the top. Your parents have gone through the same thing when they were younger too before now serving me personally."
His parents hugged him as Hinata looked at the ruler.
"So allow me to apologize for the years of loneliness by granting you the chance to devote yourself to me. You and your parents will never be separated again."
