What a time to be alive! It's the first day of school and I'm already late. I hope the homeroom teacher will let this pass.

I grab the newly ironed uniform and at least try to make myself look presentable. I can't believe it. I'm finally a first year in Karasuno! It's been my dream to join Karasuno ever since I saw the Little Giant play during the nationals on TV. The way they strategize and communicate with their coach and managers is everything I wish I could be.

I snap out of my thought as I hear my mom shout from downstairs.

"Honey, aren't you going to eat breakfast?" My mom asks full of concern.

"I'm sorry mom! I'm already late but could you put them on a bento? I'll eat them during lunch."

My mom heaves a sigh but agrees at the end, "Be home early. Your father's friend and his family will eat with us during dinner."

I climb down the stairs dumbstruck.

"Why do they need to eat with us?" I ask

"To catch up of course! So be home as fast as you can so you can help me prepare."

I nod while grabbing some toast from the dining table. I wear my shoes while bidding my mom goodbye. Our housecat, Ravioli, purrs and sat beside our shoes. I pet her head as I open the door.
