It was Valentine's day. Great. Neither of us has heard from Cass or from Amara which is great but also worrying.
I walked into the control room and looked at Sam surprised "hey, i thought you guys were on a case?"
Sam nodded "yeah, we just got back from it"
i looked around confused "and where's your brother?"
Sam shrugged "Buying alcohol. Maybe even flowers for you? i mean, it's Valentine's day"
I rolled my eyes and leaned against the table "i am not really a flowers-type of girl. And besides that, i don't think flowers could help us with our problems"
Sam eyed me "you okay?"
I shook my head "i don't know"
Sam sighed "talk to me"
Me "my boyfriend has a deep connection with God's sister. I couldn't be more perfect"
Sam sighed "okay, you're not okay"
I shook my head "no, Sam, I just think it's funny that the whole fucking universe comes up with the stupidest ideas to get Dean and me apart"
Sam shook his head "that's not true"
Me "you sure? When was the last time Dean and I went through a week without arguing or some supernatural being trying to mess with our relationship?"
Sam froze, thinking about it.
I nodded "exactly"
Sam sighed "it can't be that bad, Elena"
Me "Your older brother feels like he's cheating on me with The Darkness"
His eyes widened "okay "
I nodded "yeah. I know"
Sam "and his feelings for you?"
I shook my head "he told me he still loved me but.."
Sam "..you think he lied?"
I shrugged, crossed my arms over my chest.
Sam "why didn't you touch him while you asked him what he really feels for you now that Amara is there?"
I shrugged "i didn't ask "
Sam asked confused "how can you not ask something like that ?"
I shook my head "because I didn't wanna know"
Sam asked confused "why not? "
Me "Because I'm scared of his answer, Sam!"
He sighed "Elena, Dean only feels that way for Amara because he has to, not because he wants to"
