Chapter XIII

Alex POV

Before furthering our conversation we heard a sudden crash and smelled smoke. Fear washed over me as I thought about my little princess being hurt so we ran out into the living room area.

"What the hell is going on!?" I looked around to see Bre cleaning up some glass.

"Nothing just an accident so calm down" Niq said while laughing. I growled slightly as Bahja held my arm to calm me.

"Why do I smell smoke then?"

"Because Bre over here wasn't paying attention when she was cooking and burnt some shit up" Niq looked at me trying to contain laughter while Bre just glared daggers at her. If looks could kill...Niq would be six feet under by now.

"It's not my fault...your damn brother kept throwing skittles at me!!" She pointed at him while he stood there grinning.

"I know that grin...stop playing before you kill us all asshole" I smacked his head and went to go lay down and take a nap.

Niq and Bahja sat down to talk. Not sure what about because I tuned them out. I can hear Bre trying to teach Savannah a dance move. I love that my daughter is as passionate about dancing as I am. Of course I would never force my profession onto her but I will encourage what she likes to do whole heartedly. She's really good at it too so I love to teach her but it's also nice to have another teacher beside me, her uncle, and her gramps but he's important...at least not to me anyway.

Savannah POV

I watched auntie Bre dance and tried to copy her but I ended up falling down. Walking into a corner and pouted. I hate when I can't do stuff right. I know I'm 6 now but I'm very smart and stuff so I hate when I disappoint myself. I saw her walking over to me

"Hey kid why'd you stop?"

"Because I suck"

"No you don't" kneeling down to me.

"You're a very good dancer. You did fine so don't get so upset okay? We all fall sometimes but all you have to do is get back up and try again. So come on ima help you out munchkin" she picked me up and swung me around.

"Put me doowwwnnnn auntie bre!!!" I said laughing

"Only if you promise to stop pouting everytime you fall or mess up!" She stopped and looked at me. I made a thinking face and nodded. She grinned and helped me out with the moves she was doing.

"See! You're doing great! Keep going" I kept dancing and ended with a backflip.

"How was that?" I ran over to her.

"That was awesome kid! I told you that you could do it! And that backflip? Man that was too sick!" She grinned as we sat down on the floor.

"Hehe I always add backflips. My daddy loves to flip and she taught me so now I do it too. It's fun!" *smiling from ear to ear*

"You love your dad a lot don't you?"

"Yes she's the best. Now I'm happy that she has mom...I mean Bahja...so we can maybe be a family.." *looks down sadly*

"You love Bahja too right?"

"Yea.."

"Then I'm sure she wouldn't mind you calling her mommy so don't worry okay? Besides she loves you and your daddy a whole lot!" *gets up smiling*

"I love you and auntie niqniq too!" *follows Bre*

"We love you too kid! So are you ready for tis festival?"

"I sure am!! I get to dance a little"

"Oh yeah?"

"Yep I'm gonna kick butt!!"

*bre laughs* "we'll see. I'll be watchin"

"Hehe okay"

*sits on the couch on Bahja lap*

"Hi mommy.."

"Hey princess...you okay?" *smiles and rubs Savannahs head*

"Yes I'm fine"

"Hmm where's your daddy?"

"I think she's sleeping"

"Oh well go wake her up and tell her to get ready for the festival"

"Okay!"

Sooooo I know it's been awhile but it's been a lot happening with school and stuff. Had a recent injury and couldn't use my fingers but I'm fine now!! I'm back to writing, will update more.

yeah kind of short. I know don't shoot me lol. I promise when I get home sunday since I'm out of town i will update again.
