It feels like suffocating. The compressing of my lungs and crushing heartbeat pumping under my chest.
My fingers curls around my duvet, knuckles turning white from the pressure I had on the material.
"F-fuck..." I couldn't help but swear under my strangled breath, taking wavered pants.
My vision blurred from the line of tears filling my tear-ducts, black spots coating my half-sight.

My whole form shook with every inch of possible strength, taking in cool laps of oxygen as I furiously attempted to blink away the indistinct shapes and blobs that appeared to be my room.

Before giving a second glance, I stood with full-force, only to collapse onto my knees; chest heaving in a weak effort to supply my lungs with air.

Water. I need water. The glass on my desk.
By this time, my entire vision had clouded over, my memory alone to guide me across my room.
Hands fumbling over the expanse of polished wood, I received the cup of room-temperature liquid; but not without knocking over a container of pencils, a stack of books, and at least a large amount of my scrap paper.

I struggled to put the edge of it to my lips, spilling more than I drank.
"I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay."
I muttered over and over in an attempt to calm myself from my panic attack.

This was becoming a frequent occurrence, already the seventh time in three days.
My vision cleared just enough to read the red numbers on my digital clock: three fourteen AM.

Making my way back to my bed, i curled into a ball, under my blanket; quiet sobs and sniffles sounding from my covers.
Tears stained my cheeks, and they resumed soaking my sheets underneath my face.
And I lay there till morning.
